This is such a lovely thread, you guys are so nice .......the Kaz post also made me sad with my own memories and grateful for people like her. <sniff> right, back to business following group hug...:blushing::grouphug:
Me and my sister have this hilarious challenge. It's to see how many different products we can use in one pampering session. I bet some of you guys would enjoy this one and could knock spots off my list! You're not allowed to be wasteful doing the challenge.
Top one so far is 12 products....
(Sanctuary) Bubble bath
Baby oil in bath (Tescos)
Olbas oil in bath (for cold)
Shower gel/scrub (Champneys)
Face pack (Olay I think)
Body lotion (take your pick from millions, LOL)
Face cream (no. 7 - with voucher)
Hand cream (S&G)
Shampoo (poundland)
Conditioner (ditto)
Leave in conditioner
Frizz away serum
What a great idea!!roshydoshy wrote: »Another pop in post...I passed the interview and have to go to the final assessment day but the lady seemed very positive on the phone so fingers crossed I can pass this!
Thank you very much for your thoughts over the past couple of days, a new career change in something I am passionate about (going from construction to fashion buying/marketing) seems so daunting and I hope that I can achieve it!
The assessment day is next Friday, the day before I'm scheduled for my hair cut and hair colour change - typical!! but I shall preen and pamper very thoroughly on the Thursday night!

Have to admit Im dreading it turning all Dallas on us now (on the grounds that it would be a bit hard for him to be in the next episode if hes dead....though I guess it could always turn into a kind of Randall and Hopkirk (diceased) effort...) cos I really dont see how he would have had time to do it all - and the person walking away looked far more sound than Id have expected someone who was shot in one if not both legs to be....
love Harry - think hes pretty much perfect (though a bit on the skinny side, but I'll forgive him that!!)
must rememebr to pamper bath before 9 tonight !!!! :rotfl:Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup0 -

? Or I'm being thick 'cause I've not a chuffin clue what you're on about :rotfl: (obviously it's a telly programme which has been mentioned lots and I've forgotten the name of though). I couldn't tell you if it was good 'cause I don't watch series.
We only got sky+ recently (June?) and I've not quite worked out how to use it. I don't get into series because of working nights, I never know when I'm in. I didn't even realise that there was a new series of The Mentalist (love that programme!) until I saw an advert and then I couldn't find it to get DH to tape it.
Anyhoo, totally OT post (sorry ladies!).
I went to try and give blood earlier but they don't take drop ins anymore. It's the second time I've been turned away in the last few years. They won't do you without an appointment but they never send me one through. I have registered online so hopefully I will get sent some information. Actualy, I just thought, they won't send me any because they didn't ask for my address and I moved 6 years ago and haven't been since (apart from when I was turned away). I keep having babies and getting sharps injuries so become unable to go for a year or so.
I'm looking forward to having a good old buffy scrub tonight, last night was quite disappointing with the run out scrub with no scrubby bits! Noticed today that my face is looking really dry and a bit flaky round the forhead so I think I might need a face mask or something scrubby on it. I have oats, sugar, oil and peanut butter any ideas? Oh syrup too but no honey.Debt: 16/04/2007:TOTAL DEBT [strike]£92727.75[/strike] £49395.47:eek:   £43332.28 repaid 100.77% of £43000 target.MFiT T2: Debt [STRIKE]£52856.59[/STRIKE] £6316.14 £46540.45 repaid 101.17% of £46000 target.2013 Target: completely clear my [STRIKE]£6316.14[/STRIKE] £0 mortgage debt. £6316.14 100% repaid.0 -

Fingers VERY firmly crossed Roshy. My 'assessment' day turned out to be an induction, you would have had to have screwed up pretty royally not to have been offered a post (there were a few of us offered posts). I was having kittens though as my train broke down and I was half an hour late, but I'd rung and they couldn't have been nicer.
Mind you, it's a totally different field (e-tutor for Maths, working from home).
But still, POSITIVE THOUGHTS!
Toiletries front - several splutterers on the go. Expect to be posting UU's sometime soon. I won't say 'this week' as they will then go on for ever....
Just sent off for another free sample, cough, http://www.purityorganicskincare.co.uk/free-prize-draw/
It says 'free prize draw but it is a free sample.
Yes, it's an in, but it's not buying, and it's nice to have something other than bills in the post at this time of year. I got two Twinings herbal teabaga and a 50p coupon yesterday. I'm having a bit of a UU on the herbals so will hold purchasing for a wee while.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again...
