S&G body butter sounds a good place to start ... that uses up so quickly! Smart move.Welcome Hazz!!!
Thanks for the welcomes, and Kaz that puts everything into perspective. it proves you should pamper yourself and use the best products you have first, rather than leaving them, because lifes too short as it is and its good to look after and treat your body.
I have one UU, a jolly orange shower gel from the body shop. WIBA? No, it was given to me by a friend who is a body shop at home rep and although I'm grateful it didn't do much for my skin or smell very orange at all! Plus I think it was part of their special Christmas range.Mortgage when started 2010: £97,000
Current mortgage balance: £79,549.01

Well I've UU a NO.7 hand cream that was part of a gift set from last year. WIBA? It is..was.. lovely but probably get something just as good cheaper.Don't walk behind me; I may not lead. Don't walk in front of me; I may not follow. Just walk beside me and be my friend...

On the pink rose candle philosophy,
I had a patient last week who very sadly passed away. She had cancer but got pneumonia. Her death was very sudden and very sad for the family. When I ws laying her out, I removed her socks and exclaimed in surprise. My colleague wondered what was up when I gasped and said look at her toes...
This lady had THE most fabulous dark red metalic pedicure with diamantes on her big toes. We both said, well, that's how I'd like to go.
I lost a lady last night who had had her hair set on Friday and was beautifully coiffured too.
I think these ladies got it right. Go out with a bang, still looking your best.
Thank you for this post Kaz. It made me think about my mum who also had cancer but died of pneumonia some years ago. She always took pride in her appearance with her skin care and make up and I remember watching her sort out her make up bag when I was young and sending me off to the shops for a new foundation or similar and we would chat about these things. Your post just reminded me of something else I shared with my mum, and although made me fill up a bitit also gave me happy thoughts about those mother-daughter times we had together:)

Hello all,
This is such a lovely thread, you guys are so nice .......the Kaz post also made me sad with my own memories and grateful for people like her. <sniff> right, back to business following group hug...:blushing::grouphug:
Me and my sister have this hilarious challenge. It's to see how many different products we can use in one pampering session. I bet some of you guys would enjoy this one and could knock spots off my list! You're not allowed to be wasteful doing the challenge.
Top one so far is 12 products....
(Sanctuary) Bubble bath
Baby oil in bath (Tescos)
Olbas oil in bath (for cold)
Shower gel/scrub (Champneys)
Face pack (Olay I think)
Body lotion (take your pick from millions, LOL)
Face cream (no. 7 - with voucher)
Hand cream (S&G)
Shampoo (poundland)
Conditioner (ditto)
Leave in conditioner
Frizz away serumLess stuff, more life, love, laughter and cats!
Even if I'm on the shopping threads, it doesn't mean I'm buying! Sometimes it's good to just look and then hit the CLOSE button!0 -
you could add heat protection spray, mousse and hairspray to that list if you had a hair session afterwards0

Another UU!
It's just another one of those l'Occitane Verbena Body Lotion minis (50ml). Very nice, would buy again if I didn't have so much stuff to use up, so it will have to wait, but I'm just glad it's gone! :T

Kaz I think its lovely and proves no matter what its worth making the effort x
UU BS white musk body lotion - WIBA got another in the stash I love the smell of this but am not really a fan of body lotion but they came in gift sets so gotta use em up!
My gel eyeliner arrived last night from my lovely Avon lady and I have trialled it out today and I have to say I am very impressed!0 -
Another pop in post...I passed the interview and have to go to the final assessment day but the lady seemed very positive on the phone so fingers crossed I can pass this!
Thank you very much for your thoughts over the past couple of days, a new career change in something I am passionate about (going from construction to fashion buying/marketing) seems so daunting and I hope that I can achieve it!
The assessment day is next Friday, the day before I'm scheduled for my hair cut and hair colour change - typical!! but I shall preen and pamper very thoroughly on the Thursday night!
Oh Kaz is it a good one? I had V+ it to watch tomorrow but the lovely people on my facebook have let me 'know' the story line! (I won't put it here incase anyone else is in the lurch!)x0
