I went to a small Boots with the intention to use my No7 voucher but the cheapest I could spend it on was a Ruby&Millie set of sponges for unde £7, so I kept it and I will look in a bigger one what they have got. I intend to spend as little as possible! I also found a £10 Boots voucher between my old post, so quite chuffed. I think I will use that voucher to buy hair dye, since my roots are starting to show quite clearly! Does it count? I had to buy the hair dye anyway, I will use it straight away and it will cost nothing... I can always report it the same day as an IN and an UU lol
About eye make up remover HG, I have not tried that L'Oreal one and it is a great price as to let it pass, but my HG one is the Clinique "Take the day off", a tiny amount goes a long way and it leaves nothing behind. I am quite happy with that one, Lancome has one similar, they are silicone based and you have to shake them first.
Clinique's Take The Day Off is lovely - used to be my HG in fact, before I tried the L'Oreal one, which is non greasy and really refreshing and leaves your eyes feeling soothed and fresh. Condierfing the price difference, I was pretty chuffed!roshydoshy wrote: »I think my gut feeling is telling me to stay away but I know someone who has had a really good experience with them (the only person I know that has used them - the other reviews are all online from research) but it will be a chance for me to get on the property ladder - oh well back to boring scrimping and saving for a big lump of a deposit
thanks very much though tara!
Roshy, shared ownership can work really well for some people, however, you must do some research ahead of considering a purchase. Firstly check out previous sales on the development you are looking at - usually the biggest problems with selling on are with properties which have some restrictions placed on them - ie retirement properties usually have an age clause and that can make them a nightmare to sell on. Find out exactly what the options are for purchasing additional equity in the property later on - can you, for example, only own a maximum 75/25% ratio, or will it let you go as high as you like. Finally, you must find a specialist lawyer in shared ownership matters - and preferably someone who has had dealings with the management company before. SO is a very different area of law to standard conveyancing and only a real specialist will be able to make sure that you are getting the best deal. HTH!
My Avon order arrives tomorrow so I will be spending a good chunk of my day sorting stuff out into carrier bags ready to help increase other people's stashes!I think it's why I enjoy being an Avon rep - once every three weeks or so I get to play about with loads of cosmetics and smellies and then get paid (badly!) for it! :rotfl: I will have to declare a couple of IN's tomorrow as well I think.....:o

Hello there, I've decided to join the forum after tracking it for a while and I'm glad theres so many other people in the same situation as me with a huge stash of toiletries!! I have loads of S&G including a tote bag plus value pack on the way, a pamper box of Sanctuary Spa items plus loads of other body shop stuff, perfumes etc.
This impulse buying needs to stop and I've started off by using some S&G body butter which I'm very impressed withand I'm determined to use everything up before I buy more, I feel so guilty when I order more that I really don't need!!
Anyway, hello all and keep up the good work! :TMortgage when started 2010: £97,000
Current mortgage balance: £79,549.01

Hello Hazz and welcome! As a relative newbie myself, I can definitely say that you've landed in a friendly place, one that will keep you on the straight and narrow if that's where you really want to be.
S&G body butter sounds a good place to start ... that uses up so quickly! Smart move.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0 -

Is it time-consuming being an Avon rep and is the money any good? I am on the lookout for ways to earn some extra cash (to boost my deposit) and thought this might be good. Do you need a car?
p.s. thanks for the L'Oreal recommendation, never tried it before but I must give it a go next time the vouchers are on in Boots.Hello there, I've decided to join the forum after tracking it for a while and I'm glad theres so many other people in the same situation as me with a huge stash of toiletries!! Just popped in to confirm that the P&P sample is all used up:j I've now moved on to a B Expert redness relief serum:)
I also seem to have come out in a bumper crop of.......well not spots exactly - more like small(ish) hard painful lumps all around my jaw line:mad: and worse none of my spot treatments seem to be touching them :mad:
Also put my radox hand wash away and decanted a half used BS Mango shower gel into the old dove handwash bottle to use up as I think it's started to turn???? smells more like grapefruit than mango to me:eek::eek::eek:
Keep up the good work everyone xSave money on toiletries: no new/duplicate items until I've used up all existing supplies
