  • nothing to report today, thinking of binning the remainder of a perfume thats going on and on and on (purple ice sheers avon)..its so close to being done anyway though.when i started this challenge i was surprised at how many open bottles of "stuff" i have, i must get out the habit of using something 2/3 then leaving it!!:P well done to the people who have stayed on track this month allthough i would like to say my exchanges dont really count as ins lol :p
£365 a year spend challenge - this has included food/clothes/beauty?? who knows where I am
    20,000 step a day challenge

I would say don't touch this sort of thing with a barge pole. Read up on the horror stories of people who have taken up these 'shared ownership' schemes and you will be well put off! Just my tuppence worth though, feel free to ignore it. :)

I think my gut feeling is telling me to stay away but I know someone who has had a really good experience with them (the only person I know that has used them - the other reviews are all online from research) but it will be a chance for me to get on the property ladder - oh well back to boring scrimping and saving for a big lump of a deposit :o

    thanks very much though tara!

One UU so far today - finished my conditioner that came with the rubbish hair colour. Guess as I counted the hair kit as 1 in and 1 UU, I shouldnt really count the conditioner - but as it was meant for 2 washes after, tough !!!! ;)

oooh - Curves?? Was it expensive tara?? I was going to join, but theres never anyone in when I go to the nearest one to home !!

    2 UU's:
Vaseline Sheer Infusion Vitamin Burst Body Lotion sample. WIBA: Yes, it's actually the nicest body cream I tried as a part of this challenge. Didn't seem to pay as much attention to those things before.. Maybe it will be my new HG?

Simple Derma Intensive Relief Cream 15ml. WIBA: no, it's not for my type of skin, very heavy.
  • I didn't have time to apply foot butter and body lotion today after my shower as I got up too late! It made me feel miserable that I had to miss out this routine. I will make up for it this evening though as I am going out with some friends and so will make sure that I allow enough time to pamper myself!

My moisturiser is at the spluttering stage and I will probably have to cut the tube open tomorrow to get at the remaining contents. I'm looking forward to looking through my stash to select the next one to use.

forgot to say DH on the way home from Malaga was behind a woman from work at the checkout, they flew out with EJ(20kilo allowance) but back with RA(15kilo allowance).....her case was 22ks:eek::eek::eek::eek:

DH said put some stuff in my case(9Kilos) and she gave him this huge tolietry bag :eek::eek::eek:this caused a discussion between DH and DS2 today who said his girl had to put some of her stuff in his case.
I got brownie points when I pointed out DH and I usually share a 20 kilo case for a holiday as I take mini/sample sizes of stuff and share with him:A:A:A
  • Ooh, tenerife will be fantastic, Rosemary! Bet you're counting down the days!

I had a NPI (in the words of Jacks!) after loitering for ten minutes by the Rimmel stand in the coop today. It was 3 for 2, and I wanted a concealer as my skin has broken out (worse than I've ever seen it - I normally get one spot every few months and suddenly there are loads - hope I'm not going to get late-onset teenage skin!). I'd picked up a concealer, loose powder and blusher, as they're all things that I need to replace soon, and then had an epiphany! I knew that as soon as I started them I'd be impatient to use them up, so I've decided to splash out instead and get the things I really want! (Ok, that sounds like common sense, but I spend so much time using things that are just good enough for purpose). So watch out for some super-posh Ins soon. And if they aren't worth it, I just won't re-buy them. :D
  • Three uu's tonight -

Freeze shower gel, wiba no. I didn't like it as a shower gel but loved it as a hand wash. However its very expensive to use as a hand wash and its retro which means buying it onluy through MO.

Fairtrade foot lotion sample, wiba no. I prefer to use charity pot on my feet.

Handy guragu hand cream sample, wiba yes! Its my HG hand cream and have a full size pot open too. I do have hand food to use and may well open this too, when I next get to my stash.
  • another UU to report here as well

I finished off a horrid 50ml M&S pomegranate body scrub which was sickly sweet and gooey
Not much scrub to it more a cleansing lotion with some bits in!
    defo not a WIBA
