Two Olay Total Effects Wake Up Wonder 7ml samples arrived in the post, so technically an In-but -not -bought
    Wonder how I got two?
14ml equates to a third of a tube now that the Olay tubes seem to be 40 ml, so I'm rather pleased about that.

  • Morning all. How weird is it that I get so happy now when something runs out! I've had a few uus over the weekend but one was cheating a bit as I decanted a sample size Clinique moisturiser into the larger size bottle so now I've got one item less!

Thanks to this thread, I actually went through the S&G hatbox and am now using the Clean Mary. Love it! My skin looks so much better after even just one use. I can't wait for my splutterers to be used up. Am putting hand cream on about 10 times a day!

    A couple of UUs yesterday:

Lush Christmas Pudding Bath Ballistic: WIBA? No I don't like bath ballistics really, prefer my bath to have bubbles! Also this turned the water a rather interesting yellowy brown colour - not very relaxing, but it was left over from last year and is now gone!

Sanctuary Charcol facemask sachet: WIBA? Yes - I like this and have a couple of tubes of this too, got this sachet last year when I needed to up a spend to get a GWP when getting Sanctuary bits for my mum for Mothers' Day. Found this in a box though and thought I'd use it to get rid.

Also sold 2 lush items on ebay that were gifts so have no Lush items left at all now!

My hands are so dry at the moment I'm wiping through hand food too!

On the talk of lush guys - I have a huge hat box FULL of bath bombs - and I dont like using them as they make the bath feel all slimy and silky - I was thinking about getting hubby to cut them all in half and then there wouldnt be so much slimyness in the bath.....what do you guys think?

Oh I hate those flipping bath bombs! I just feel like I'm getting in a dirty bath! :( The ones with petals are even worse cos they stick to you like glue!! :rotfl:

I got a load for Christmas and they aren't even the lush ones.....I would suggest just giving them away personally!! I've got excema and they dry my skin out badly.

Even if I'm on the shopping threads, it doesn't mean I'm buying! Sometimes it's good to just look and then hit the CLOSE button!
  • Just thrown out a stub of the Prescriptives concealing wand. Wiba? Possibly but Prescriptives went out of business over a year ago. That tells you something about my stash!

Decided at weekend that OH and I will buy a nice house together so I'll need to start saving. So it's good that I've got such a stash. But can't help feeling a bit down that I won't be buying anything new for a while. How strange!

Lemon Tree you have got my curiosity as to why you got your Christmas pressies two years late? What is the story there?

well for Xmas 09 we took pressies down in the Nov when others hadn't got their stuff together for the swap. We went back last Nov and were given the pressies but didn't have room to bring them back to we left them unopened. We went back this weekend as we didn't get there at christmas and these were our only pressies.

Funny thing was OH turned to me and said 'that's not going to help you with your use it up challenge is it?' i guess he must be listening to my whitterings whilst i'm online on an evening.
