    Afternoon lovelies,

Massive apologies for not being around, I have let the thread get away from me and I'm now at least a dozen pages behind!:o

I haven't bought anything at all though, so that's good. :D:j

I'll have to revise my plan somewhat because my cleansers are going down rather faster than I envisaged, and I got some foot care products, shower gel and and conditioner etc as late Christmas presents - but I'm still fully committed to buying on what's on that list.

So here's the revised plan for what I'll need to replace within each time scale.

    Three months

    Mir Cleansing Gel
    Mir Exfoliating Cleansing Gel
Dermalogica Clean Start Bed time for Breakouts
Nude Cleansing Facial Oil or similar.
    Deep conditioning treatment (pref elasticizer)
    Mir Argan Oil

    Six months

    Mascara
    Lip Balm
    Castor Oil?
    Grapeseed Oil?
    Urban Decay Primer Potion
    Shiseido Daily Bronze
    Hair dye

    Nine Months

    Shampoo
    Tinted moisturiser

    Twelve Months

    John Frieda Shine shock
    Lancome BiFacil
    Primer
    Mally Brow Boost
    Perfume
    Eyebrow and eyelash tint
    Foundation

Hope it's going well for everyone!

Tried my free 7 ml sample of Wake up Wonder this morning. It's lovely to use, and as posted previously, I have two tubes.
I've just been on Amazon to check the price. £15 for 30 ml. Which is way at the upper end of what I was expecting. You don't have to be a maths genius to work out that I got £7 worth of product for free! I think I got this from a link to the Magic Freebies site. For those Really Not Buying like me, this really good site is a great way to get little treats. I've just sent for some free Nikwax for my Drizabone coat too.

a uu and an in to shamefully report! again!

UU is nivea soft cream - WIBA probably once ive worked my way thru the million other lotions i have!!

IN is Elemis frangipani shower cream. got this on ebay for 6.50 after reading two other ladies on here say how blissful it is! oops! :o xx
Current Mortgage balance - £363,785.35/£420,000 (highest point Oct 2022).
  • morning all, no UU to report - my moringa body cream seems to have gone walkies so I have moved onto the moringa body butter, it's only a 50ml pot and after a full body application this morning i think there will be 2 more of full body uses and then that one will be hitting the bin!

I got 2x packs of face wipes in Primark on Saturday whilst visiting my sister at uni - for her to have but she decided that she didn't want them! so thats added to my stash but only cost £1 for both packs. I also got a gold cream called 'GILT' in there for 50p which will be handy for nights out as it's a highlighter but not as chunky as my others, and I won't be sad if I lose this as often happens!

I bought some lined wicker baskets that I am going to put my make up in now and leave it on my dresser as a visual reminder to use it up as often as possible! (not to look like a woman of the night!) but to make sure that even on 'off' days i will make an effort.

Off topic - I have been looking and have realised that I am eligible to get a mortgage under the homebuy agreements (buy 50% now, and rent the other 50%, gradually buying the whole property) but have mixed reviews on them - does anyone on this thread (as I know you will tell me of any issues, unlike the 'proper' thread for it which looks quite scary) know of this scheme or has bought a flat/home under it?

Sorry, back to topic have a good day ladies and use use use! :) x
  • UU; Trevor Sorbie colour treatment shampoo. WIBA; yes, does a good job. Tesco value liquid soap, WIBA, yes does the job fine, but have topped the bottle up with some bubble bath to use up.
In; Pantene colour treatment Shampoo, 2 mouthwashes (on offer in tescos) and another tesco liquid soap but no the value one as they were sold out.
  • I have just been putting clothes away (where stash is stored) and decided that the charity shop will be better off with three of my gift sets I recieved at christmas. So uu's by defering,

Glee set - shower gel, body lotion and perfume
Rituals collection - hand cream, body butter, bath crystals and body scrub
Baylis and harding set - body lotion, soap and body wash

So thats 9 out, there arn't someting I would buy myself usually so its not too much of a loss. Also instead of it sitting there unused until thrown I know they will be put to good use :T

Just thrown out a stub of the Prescriptives concealing wand. Wiba? Possibly but Prescriptives went out of business over a year ago. That tells you something about my stash!

Decided at weekend that OH and I will buy a nice house together so I'll need to start saving. So it's good that I've got such a stash. But can't help feeling a bit down that I won't be buying anything new for a while. How strange!
had not realised Prescriptives was no more, used to use their foundation but switched to YSL about 18 months ago.
  • One boring UU from this morning

Sure deodorant WIBA? Well probably, it is a necessity. Generally stock up on them when they are on offer.

I would say don't touch this sort of thing with a barge pole. Read up on the horror stories of people who have taken up these 'shared ownership' schemes and you will be well put off! Just my tuppence worth though, feel free to ignore it. :)

No UUs for me the last few days unfortunately. But I am still chugging along. Going to have a nice pampering evening tonight and use lots of products! :D

5.5 weeks till hols and the diet is going spectacularly badly!!!! :( I have bought a month's membership at Curves so am hoping to start that this week and make a real effort to shirt some flab.
