Hiya Pep - was supposed to start my 'few days off' with family tomorrow - well what can I say - gone totally off the rails from Monday :eek:. By the time we get back, I am doing Race for Life on Sunday so I will need to keep my energy levels up (agree with me please) so I don't think there will be much healthy eating until around Monday methinks. :rotfl:
Don't be silly we would never kick you off the site - we're all in this together. Good luck with your attempts at getting back into it.

Sorry I have been MIA. Crazy busy few weeks! Had three days off work to film a show and edit to. Have enjoyed doing things at my lesuire haha back to work tomorrow tho!
As I was off work today I was able to go to my WI tonight.
weight loss so far: 9.5lbs
weight loss this week: 4lbs
Total weight loss: 13.5lbs
OMG! I nearly died when I saw that weight come up! I was hoping to just get into double figures. I havent weighted in for 2 weeks but I always think that when I dont go then the pressue to maintain my eating goes away so I do less well, so I was hoping just to get any loss! I was smiling ear to ear! I actually made the woman repeat it haha So I smashed my double figures target and am now into the next stone bracket too!!!! Argh!!! I cant even remember the last time I was in this stone bracket!!!! And im just 1/2 off a one stone loss!

Tonights WWs meeting was about being 'naughty' and still being within our points. So I just wondered what you ladies did to get that 'naughty' fix?
Mine is definately making a batch of WWs cookies.... and scoffing the whole lot with a nice can of cold diet coke!
I get to eat a dozen hot, gooey chocolate cookies so feel really naughty (not to mention stuffed afterwards) but it is within my weekly points values so I can be safe in the knowledge that I havent 'ruined' my weight loss that week because of it. I dont know about anyone else but sometimes if I do something 'naughty' and havent worked out that I am 'allowed' it then I make myself feel so guilty I dont actually enjoy it anyway.0 -

Weigh in just not happening this week girls. Trying really hard to get back on track. Went totally off the rails in Edinburgh last week and head is just not in right place atm. Who on earth in their right mind goes to 'all you can eat chinese buffets' :eek::eek::eek:
However, on a more upbeat note I did complete the Race for Life on Sunday without the assistance of the paramedics. When I think this time last year I would have every excuse under the sun for reasons not to enter - being 7 stone heavier the main one. Considering entering straightaway for next year to give me something to aim for and its only a tenner doing it that way (very mse)
Going to gym tonight even though eating may not be brilliant

I joined weightwatchers online 2 weeks ago, and so far i have lost 4lb.Im in it for a long haul, as i do have to lose a fair bit of weight.What i need to know is, im going away soon for a week, i may have internet access, to input my foods, but i cant weight myself.Is anybody on weightwatchers online?..perhaps you could tell me what you do.xx0

:T Well done on your 4lb loss. Sorry I can't help you with a ww question ilovepugs. Is there a point of contact online where you can ask questions? I think there are some ladies here who do ww but things have been a bit quiet of late. Hope you manage to work something out in time for your hols.
You said that you are in it for the long haul - i've been doing it for about 14 months now and I could still do with a few more stones off :eek: Try not to think too far ahead otherwise it can get a bit depressing.

welcome to the thread Ilovepugs. I do WWs and do have the online tools as I am a monthly pass. What I would do for your week away is write down what values typical foods / meals are that you may come across. You wont be able to point exactly whilst you are away but if you can make 'better choices' then this should help you on your return. Where are you off to? Anywhere nice? I am longing for a week away haha Dont forget as you are on holiday you will be able to spend more time exercising (dont forget walking is a form of exercise!) so that should help
. My aim after a holiday is to just try and stay the same!

damn damn damn! I was soooo close to that stone too! I have weighed into today rather than my usual wednesday as I can no longer make that meeting so I need to find another one I can make. So I am putting the increase down so having a change in day and time (eve to morn). Weighing in on wednesday I am in the routine of having my treats friday-sunday, I tend to eat heavier on these days and also stick religiously on mon-weds to basic foods. I didnt decide to attend the meeting till saturday eve so I think this has something to do with it. I need to change my mindframe of my eating routine now. Not too happy about weighing in on sundays hahaha but its my only option at the minute.
Well done on completing the race for life Blue eyed, what an achievement! I think signing up for next year is a brilliant idea too. And to think you have lost 7 stone since this time last year is beyond amazing!.
Well its a new week and a clean slate for me ladies! Lets hope next weeks weigh in goes better than this weeks!0 -

I have pretty much sussed out this points thingy lol.I do have at least 4 stone to lose, i don't, think about it to be honest, as like you said, it can get depressing.
