    hehe thank youuuuuu :D.

I bought a dress from work a couple of months back. It was slightly too small to zip up but I loved it and had an amazing discount on it.... tried it on last night and it fits! woohoo! It now zips up (although a little tightly haha) so will feel/look better with a few more pounds off but as its a baggy style around the tummy it still looks good and wearable :D

How are we all getting on this week ladies? I havent had chance to try a new recipe yet grrrrrr! Think I will tomorrow night tho :D. Handed in my notice at my part time job last night, felt abit weird as I have been there 7 years so it was a comfort blanket almost. So only 4 weeks to go and then I will only have 1 employer hehe

Just a quick update on recipes - we have discovered a good way of getting our DS to eat cabbage :D:D:D

Chop up cabbage, leek, onion and dice up some bacon. Stir fry diced bacon in wok (no fat/oil added). When cooked add cabbage leek and onion. Once the liquid starts to come out into wok, add a stock cube for seasoning. Turned out quite tasty.

Just had a sweetie attack - so I nibbled on a few sugar puffs - I know - not ideal - but it could have been much worse, couldn't it

Good luck for this weeks weigh in girls

    Start weight - 184.8

    Today - 181.2

    3.6lbs. Not bad.

I'm happy enough with that. :D

Slightly concerned when my beloved complained he was 191 and currently aiming for 180....I had the nightmare scenario of us weighing the same. Given that he is 6' and I am 5'3" that would be badddddd.

My sons are back at school on Wednesday and I can really get on in earnest.

Best get my skates on :jas I'm aiming for the 170.

hat's for starters of course but it means my BMI will be below the 30 so just very overweight then !

    Take care people.

Good to have you back Susan - hope you have had a good time. Loads of time to undo any 'damage' by Monday ;)

As regards your knitting - I do believe Pep is our resident knitter so hopefully she will be able to sort things out for you. I have not managed to get away with knitting or crocheting - all ended in tragedy sadly :o I do however find cross stitching quite relaxing - in fact I have just ordered a new kit last night (a wee treat you understand). Hopefully it will keep my fingers occupied in the evenings instead of feeding my face. :D A lot of the cross stitch stuff can look like it has come out of your great-granny's parlour so I have to choose with care - I'm not that old - really, promise.:D

Anyway take care everyone and will catch up with you all later.

Resident knitter has arrived :rotfl: k1, sl1 means knit 1 stitch and then slip the next stitch from one needle to the other without knitting it. If you need anything else give me a dunt.

Things not going too good this end. OH's gran died suddenly on Friday morning so everythings a bit up in the air and diet consists of whatever he feels like eating. Hugs to all.

Susn: not going to lie... I have put that dress on a couple of times now and danced around my room haha going to treat myself to some new shoes to go with it :D. Found out there is a works do on 1st july (will be my first!) so going to save it for that a dress to impress :D.
