I am a bit disappointed blue_eyed_girl. Thanks to Giggles and you for the suggestion, will have dinner at lunchtime for a while and just a salad or something light for tea, an see what happens. I started back to pulmonary rehab classes this week after an 8 week break so the extra exercise, gentle though it is, might help. If that doesn't work Pep I'll, well I was going to say eat my hat, but that would just be silly, lol . (Thinks -Wonder how many calories there are in wool...?)0

Did any of you watch the Biggest Loser (american one) on Monday night? One of the trainer tips was...
Stick to your diet / healthy eating very strictly for 3 days
Eat reasonably well for 2 days
Eat reasonably well for 2 days and if you're having any cravings have them on these two days.
Seemingly it stops you from plateauing because you're constantly shocking your metabolism so it doesn't slow down and you keep losing weight.
And the other piece of advice was to eat your big meals early on in the day and make them smaller as the day goes on because your metabolism slows down during the day.
Sounds good to me0 -

Well done Esmer, you've got to my dream weight. I've done nothing but scoff tonight, going crafting, that'll keep my hands out of the bikkie tin.:D:whistle: Be the kind of woman that when your feet hit the ground each morning the devil says, "OH CARP, SHE'S UP"! :whistle:0

I got back into cross-stitching in my attempt to keep the 'nibblies' at bay - it does work some of the time. I'm not too bad during the day but once night time arrives :eek:SPC NO 041STARTED SW 04/14 - TARGET 05/16 - TOTAL LOSS 10ST 3.5LBS :dance:0 -
wow Esmer well done!
PepPop : I didnt watch Biggest Loser but it reminded me of a variation I had read of the WW point system. It was a women that had developed her own variation of it. Basically say her daily points was 19 (this was based on old plan) then per week that was 133 so she distributed this through the 7 days. I can remember the exact amounts but it was similar to what you say. One of the days was a really low amount, something like 14, and another was a huge amount, something like 34. Many people commented on how they found it worked better for them. Although of course WWs never endorsed it! I reckon it is probably worth trying if you ever some to a plateau.
Went and did the weekly shop with my Dad tonight and stocked up on some WW meals for the freezer. Some were only 70p! bargain! Also got some mini twister lollies. Need to work out the exact point values but dont think they should be too bad. And these should be a good go to for my sweet cravings.
Made some soup today too, pretty sure its 0 point but will just double check tomorrow. Didnt have chance to taste it as I had to hurry off to work so will try it tomorrow, hopefully it will be nice hahaha Need to start doing a weekly plan of meals again. If I know what I am eating each evening I find I dont snack as much during the day as in my head I think 'Oh its ok Im hungry as I am having such a thing in 2 hours' so I can focus more.
Hope you all have a lovely weekend and the sun sticks for us0 -

Well Wi is thursday again this week and I have had a total rubbish food week! Going to try and be good until WI and hope it counter acts my naughtiness over the weekend!
I made my own soup on Friday and had that for lunch today, it was yummy! If anyone else is itnerested in making soup it was
whole broccoli, 2 leeks, 1 onion, some celery, pepper to taste, 1 veg stock and 1 chicken stock. All cooked then blitzed witha hand held blender and done! In hindsight I should have put more water in as its a little like baby mush (plus this would have meant it made more portions) but it doesnt affect the taste.
