Part of the Furniture 1,000 Posts Combo Breaker I've been Money Tipped!
Was really very surprised, but pleasantly so, to find I've lost 1lb this week. Perhaps it's all the getting up and down making tea and finding things for the kitchen fitters ;). Back on track, no more white bread/pasta/rice and meat only 2 or 3 days a week from now on. 'S funny (peculiar) that when I'm on my eating plan I seem happier than when I'm stuffing rubbish. Must be really getting used to it!

Good luck everyone for your weigh-days :D

Well day one of the diet has gone well :D. I manage to not pick at one single chip at work today! (I work in a food house). Just tracked what I have eaten and I have got 9 points left for the day so I think I will make the WW cookie mix and treat myself :D/ They are sooo yummy especially when warm!

oh dear had an extremely bad diet day today :( did very well up to 1pm then grazed (include some of an aero eek) until tea and we had soup (although that is zero point) with homemade break followed by chicken mash and green beans and Ive had two diet cokes. Oh well will have to just be extra good he next 2 days. Have enough soup to have for dinner both these days which is good. Going to *try and have no bread with it* and already plan to have a chicken and bacon salad after work tomorrow. I work at a pub so going o have it after my shift and ask for no dressing. I cant have a gain on my first WI haha

Just popping on for a quick hi - things seem to have gone really quiet here lately - hope everyone is doing ok.

Well done on your loss sparrer. I know what you mean when you say that you are much happier when you are sticking to plan. I don't know whether its that I feel in control (well some of the time anyway) but I'm really just trying to get through one day at a time as I still have an awfully long way to go.

Giggles - I have no idea what your ww cookies consist of or taste like but when I read your post my bloomin mouth started to water. I would have great difficulty in stopping myself from pinching the odd chip mind. Hope everything goes well with your wi - course you won't have a gain - but if you do - you probably won't be the first - just give a little shrug, put it behind you and move on.

Having a real fancy for something really sweet - not fruit or diet yoghurt. Had a little tiny bar of cadburys earlier - but that was around 2 - absolutely ages and ages ago. :o Might just have to go on a little search - there again bringing wi a day earlier this week as we are having a few days away. Will try to be good for the rest of the day.

    Good luck with your weigh-ins

Thank you blue eyed girl :D. I would really recommend the WW cookie mix. They sell them in the supermarket and at Quality Save (only 79p here) and all you do is add marg and pop them in the oven for 10 mins and they really satisfy a sweet urge! Good luck with your WI. Where are you off to?

Have to admit I am finding it abit difficult. I did WWs just over 2 years ago so have some methods I learnt then which I continued to use which used to help me keep on plan. The main one was having a pot of WWs ice cream with meringue and sometimes some fruit as a dessert as I loved it and it always satisfied my sweet urges. Or I would have strawberries with low fat yogurt. However my problem is that I think I am lactose intolerent now, I have been having a lactose free diet for nearly 3 weeks and I have been referred for tests to confirm whether it is definate but I have noticed a huge difference since I started. So the problem - I cant have ice cream or yogurt :( I did slip up and have a WWs ice cream pot last week and my skin flared up badly the next day. I completely forgot and got all the ingredients to make fruit smoothies but this is yogurt and I was telling someone about how I was going to make one then realised that I cant have them!

So I am having to find some new tips to help me this time. Does anyone have any they can share?

Giggles_Fairy Have a look at this site - I don't know if it's any good I just googled but this is a recipe for lactose free banana ice-cream. I was thinking you could use this as a basic recipe and add your own fruit and maybe a low-cal sweetner?

Oh and as for me ...

    Just DON'T ask :o

Hi Giggles - strolling round HB this afternoon and suddenly I spotted the WW Cookies. I think they were 79p or two for £1.20 but I thought it was safer just to get one - less temptation especially if I really like them. Will give them a go once we get back - I think I have probably done enough damage for one day and theres still a few hours before bedtime.

We are off to the Lake District for a few days - hope the weather stays reasonable - there again will I shrink if I get really wet - there's a thought. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Not looking forward to tomorrows wi as it seem as though I have started hols early - oh dear :o Bought a pack of 4 custard tarts from Asda (reduced to 49p) left one for my Mum then realised there is only me at home who eats them. :o

Take care everyone and will update on wi in the morning.

    Morning girls

Early start for me today. Jumped on the scales this morning and unfortunately everything is the same as last week. :(

    Weight 9/3/11 = 16st 6.5lbs
    Weight 15/3/11 = 16st 6.5lbs
Total lost this week = 0lbs
    Total lost since June 2010 = 5st 13.5lb

Never mind I'm going to have a few 'days off'' while we are away and then get back into it by the weekend. (promise).

    Good luck with your weigh-ins

BlueEyedGirl Maybe a couple of days off is what you need. You've maybe plateaued and need a wee kick start to your metabolism. Have a great time.

Ok I weighed myself this morning. I have lost since I last weighed in but I'm starting again so I'm just gonna put my start weight in and go from there

Start weight - 12st (nice easy one to remember :))
    Weight 15.3.11 - 11st 11.5lbs

I'm off to update my sig.
