remeber that picture of the 1lb of human fat next to a coffee cuop. it's huge and minign looking so 3/4 of that is still great PepPop!

I know I keep thinking of that YEUCH!!!

Great losses out there everyone - keep it up!!

I seem to have a life of pros and cons at the moment...

Pro - watched the biggest loser last night and was inspired
Con - was eating OHs chocolate birthday cake and drinking red wine at the same time OOPS :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Today is another day and so far so good :rotfl:

The sparrer arrived back in the nest on Sun early am from Kerala, been a bit jet-lagged but back on track now. I haven't dared weigh myself yet (coward) but will have to tomorrow :(

Got lots to do to help get the holiday weight off, the kitchen refurb starts on Monday so I'm clearing that out, and have just been invited to Scotland in May so will set a new goal to aim for.

Will catch up with all the posts later but for now hope everyone's keeping well. It's good to be home :)
  • :T Well done clare on your loss this week - hope you enjoy your curry. Really would love a 'normal' creamy curry right now - low fat versions only hit the spot so far with me. Those naughties do have a taste all of their own.

I watched Biggest Loser too Pep but I would never have dreamed of having chocolate cake and red wine :naughty::D :shhh: I had some sugar puffs (no milk) to nibble on as I was having a sweety attack.:o Mind you the people on the show have really shifted some weight in about seven weeks - amazing.

Good to have you back sparrer - it seems no time since you were leaving. Hope you've had a good time and the jet lag soon passes. It's my weigh in tomorrow and so far this week things don't seem to have shifted much. Think I will have to pray for a miracle. Will try to be good for the rest of the night but it might be too little too late. You will be getting plenty of exercise emptying all those kitchen cupboards :D

Good luck girls if your weigh-in is looming

Thanks for the welcome home blue_eyed_girl. You're right, seems we're saying 'wow, a whole 2 weeks holiday ahead of me' and 'how did those two weeks go so fast?' almost in the same breath! It was an amazing holiday, and amazing food experience. The hotel was b'n'b so we ate out twice a day (after promising ourselves it would be only once, with a snack of fruit or similar at lunchtime) cos we couldn't resist the food on offer :o

Weighed in at 11st 3lb this morning, really pleased as that's only 1lb more than when I left. My next goal is 11st, but I'm not going to set a time limit as I felt it too much pressure before, so just taking it one day at a time. Having said which I'm going to Scotland at the end of April and I certainly hope to be less than 11st by then.

Good luck to everyone with weigh-days coming up :)
  • Ive noticed a few of us are going to Scotland soon  YAY

unfortunately its always at the butt of the Unhealthy Food joke, so not very appt for a group of people watching their weight!!

I WILL try a deep fried mars bar (only becasue ive never had them, and people in scotland apparantly do them well), but i am thinking that all the dancing i will do in the night clubs will help me justify it :D

Good luck finding one... I think it's a bit of an urban myth. I've lived here all my life and still haven't seen a chippie that sells them. Where abouts are you going?
