Hi all, wow it's really quiet here just now.
I'm reporting a.... wait for it..... 3/4 lb weight loss :rotfl: I think I'd better revise my date :rotfl: It is my TOTM so I'm not too disappointed. Onwards and downwards.
1.75 lb down 33.25 to go
Keep up the good work everyone :T0 -
I've lost a total of 10 1/2 lbs since joining WW :j
Soooooo pleased. And I have had a few nights out/meals with friends/family in that too! I did put on 0.5 lb one week but I had lost 3lbs the week before that, so I wasnt too bothered (i think it may have been my TOTM too, PepPop)
And i have signed up to the Race for Life too. Just waiting for the info to come through the post before starting on my fundraising. So I hope that all the hard work i'm putting in at the gym will pay off for when i come to run the 5k!
Good luck to everyone else on here! Lets keep each other motivated so that we can reach our targets

Weight today (21/02/11): *14st 12lbs
*Starting weight (10/01/11):* 16 st 0lbs
*Weight Loss this week:* 5lbs
*Total Weight Lost: *16lbs
This is a lot this week even thought it was my best mates 30th on saturday and ate soooo much.
I think most of the 5lb loss is down to new scales to be honest. The old scales over the last few weeks Ive had to weight myself a few times to make sure I got an accurate reading as the scales are the type where the wheel spins round, and it was sometimes sticking a wee bit and then spining fast round to like 19 stone before settling at a figure.... anyway hubby bought another set from argos... exactly the same scales and set it exactly as before and this is the result this morning. I'm hoping I've maybe over the last few weeks when the scales have been tempermental, I have been losing more than the 2lbs and the old scales havent been regisering it rather than these scales now weighing me a bit lighter!!0 -
remeber that picture of the 1lb of human fat next to a coffee cuop. it's huge and minign looking so 3/4 of that is still great PepPop!Hi all, wow it's really quiet here just now.

Started SW on 13th January (doing it myself without going to any groups) and have lost 19lb so far. Fell off the wagon at the weekend so may not be a loss this week but I've started again today so onwards and downwards
Well done for all your losses so farIt's easier to get forgiveness than to ask permission0 -
Great to hear that there are still some of you out there
Well done Pep, Kelda and Satnav on your losses girls. :T:T
Pep 3/4lb is not to be sneezed at. I always used to gain weight the week before my TOTM and everyone knew to watch out.:D Thankfully those days are over now.
Good that you have managed some nights out etc and still managed a good loss satnav. I'm sure your time at gym will pay dividends when you do Race for Life. Keep up your hard work.
Hope you've got your scales sorted kelda - I would use the ones that show that lowest weight. I have some digital ones now - the numbers flash around a bit - but then the weight seems to lock in and cannot be reduced by shuffling about on them. Shame - not that I would try such tactics mind you:D Well done on your loss anyway.
Keep at it girls and we will try to keep each other going.

:T:T Well done you on your loss so far in such a short space of time really and you've achieved it on your own so to speak. Don't worry about your little hiccup at the weekend, you sound as though you will be right back on the wagon. I think we all need a few treats now and then - sometimes I think it gives the weightloss a bit of a kick up the bum if it has become a bit sluggish :rotfl:Did SW many many moons ago - I used to love the 'green days' as I enjoyed getting stuck into a big bowl of pasta. I think the plans have changed quite a bit since then though.
Keep up your good workSPC NO 041STARTED SW 04/14 - TARGET 05/16 - TOTAL LOSS 10ST 3.5LBS :dance:0 -
Legend Mum - I'm so with you!! Why is food so tasty?? lol
Well done everyone on your weightloss. PepPop - I lost pretty much the same as you this week!! Although I'm rounding it up to 1lb as I had a HUGE drink of squash just before I weighed myself!! lol I'm a bit annoyed to be honest though - last week, during weekdays anyway, I was REALLY good. Granted, I wasn't so good over the weekend, but still....I would have hoped for a little more. Goes to show I can't get away with over indulging on the weekend! Hey ho. Fingers crossed I'm better this week. Only one naughty food thing happening this week - we're having a takeaway curry one night - but other than that I should be able to keep a better track on things.
