I think it really does help to have your OH doing it with you. Nothing worse than sitting there with a healthy meal whilst someone else tucks into a dominoes!
I dont think I have done great this week food wise. Had a few slip ups. I cant go to my usual WI tomorrow as I am working but have found another one at noon on thursday so going to be good and go there. Its a different time of day so know it will impact my weight. Going to try and fit in some wiifit exercise tomorrow morning but Im working 12-5 at oen job and 6.30-10.30 at the other so think that may be a little optimistic. On the plus side I am on my feet in both jobs moving around so that could be classed as exercise! haha0 -
Morning :hello:
Just weighed-in and here's there's the very surprising results.
Weight 15/03/11 - 16st 6.5lbs
Weight 23/03/11 - 16st 5lbs
Total Loss this week - 1.5lbs
Total Loss since June 2010 - 6st 1lb
I know I was really naughty while I was away last week but I did try and get back into things by Friday - I would normally have waited until Monday (my traditional day for starting diets):D
Looks lovely out again this morning - waiting for OH to get up so that I can get bedding into washer as I think the weather is supposed to change by weekend. (nice while is lasted).
Agree with you Pep - it does make a big difference if there is someone doing it along side you. My OH has more or less got down to where he wants to be (had no where near as much to lose as me) but he's doing it now to lose the last few pounds and keep on the straight and narrow. Please don't kick yourself anymore now though - you must be really bruised all that kicking you've been doing - good luck for this week
Good luck to you esmer and giggles when you weigh-in
Can hear OH moving around upstairs - if he isn't up now - he soon will be:D

Yep I know exactly how that feels :rotfl:
blue-eyed-girl :T:T:T Great weight loss - you're over your plateau!!!:j:j The way I look at it is - all the kicking is exercise :rotfl::rotfl: maybe I should kick OH instead
I haven't weighed myself and to be honest I'm scared to step on the scales. I have only been over 12 stone once in my life and I looked terrible, it was just before OH and I went to Italy on holiday and everyone was getting me chairs and bottles of water cos they thought I was heavily pregnant  That's what kick started me the last time and I got down to 9stone but it's just slowly crept back on. I think the 12stone is a psychological milestone and I have a feeling if I step on the scales I'm gonna be over that again and I promised myself that I would never get that heavy again. when i think I got back down to my ideal weight and then got myself like this again  OK I'll be brave and weigh in tomorrow and post it hear. Sorry for rambling guys - I just had to offload that.0 -
Me again
Well I weighed myself this morning and ...
I am 11st 11lb :j
so I've got 32lbs to lose0 -
Seem to have got myself stuck for the moment, still not lost/gained an ounce
. Getting desparate, might have to consider having my false nails removed!!! Ah well, back to the drawing board (cabbage soup/celery!)

Hello! please can I join you? I started WW on the 23rd February weighing in at 12.5lb (after very strict talking to from my doc)and am on the Propoints system but don't go to be weighed as the nearest one is miles away. It's very hard to get me to go anywhere after coming home from work
I'm hoping to get down to baggy 16s. Be the kind of woman that when your feet hit the ground each morning the devil says, "OH CARP, SHE'S UP"! :whistle:0 -
Blue_Eyed_Girl; Woohoo well done on the loss!
pepop: yay you were below the dreaded 12 stone. Well done for having the courage to step on the scales, thats half the battle to start with!
Sparrer: Oh dear seems like you have well and truely hit a plateau. Are you sticking to the same type of meals? Maybe mix it up and have completely different meals, or have a large meal at lunch time and a small one in the evening. Give your body a shock!
The-Wife: welcome to the threadDo you weight yourself at home?
Went to a WI at a different meeting today and lost 1 lb. My target is 1lb per week so happy with that. Total loss is now 3.5lb which is 1/4 of a stone! Weighing in the same meeting next week as I am working weds eve again so going to try and plan my food better this week and hope for another 1lb loss
. Think I will try and go food shopping with dad on friday as I usually just give him a list of leave it up to him but asking him to get me WW meals and stuff is too difficult for him and me (as I dont knwo whats available yet) so its just best if I go too. Although he says he hates it when I go because the bill is always twice as much as normal haha
What does everyone have for lunch? I am struggling to find inspiration!0 -
Sparrer LOL at the false nails. I considered a hair-cut :rotfl: I'd go with the false nails rather than the cabbage soup
Wifey   heeeelllllooooo - it's all that cake diving missus :rotfl:
Giggles My lunch is quite boring - it's either soup and a roll, or a sandwich made with brown bread and turkey. I usually have a yogurt and try to eat fruit (yeuch!!) oh and Walkers baked crisps are nice for a snack. It's nearly salad season so I'll be swapping the soup for salad soon.0 -
Well done Pep on reaching the 'well below 12st mark'. Oh how I dream of getting there one day. :rotfl:
Sound a bit fed up sparrer. Giggles might be on to something when she says about swapping your meals around etc - it might be worth a try. It could give the old metabolism of kick up the bum.
Nice one giggles on your 1lb loss. I know how your poor dad must feel when you go shopping with him. When our son decides to come with us, panic sets in and all I think of is - can the budget take it (usually its a big fat no). Sometimes as a change from sarnies and jacket potatoes at lunch time - I quite like a kidney bean/celery/apple with a yoghurty dressing and a hint of garlic. Kraft used to do a low fat garlic and herb creamy dressing which was quite nice but I don't know if its still available.
Welcome to the madhouse The-Wife - good luck with your losing if you know what I mean.;)
Had roast chicken, few potatoes and loads of veggies. OH prept the veggies, (a half a bag of brussels just for me - he hates them). Guess we will be moving to 'windy city' later tonight. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Catch up with you all tomorrow.

Thank you all for the warm welcome, as PepPop said 'it's all that cake diving'. I am the "All Essex Freestyle Cake Diving champion" see cake-dive in is/was the motto until I had a telling off from the doc. I did WeightWatchers way back and kept it off until 6 years ago and then it all piled back on after me having a Hyster, no more HRT (boo!) which helped me personally keep off the pounds.
Giggles-Fairy I do weigh myself at home, the nearest WW spot is 10 miles away at 6.30pm. Unless it's something really important I don't leave home after work through the week. I joined online and I use the Pro-points plan and I'm fairly good at putting my meals in. I do keep a record of what I eat but can scoff and fall by the wayside.
I had a WW beef casserole tonite, ok but a bit bland, not enough Oxo!! Plenty of green veg though to fill me up. Has anyone tried the light choices meals from Tesco? OH is on WW too, he says he's not but he keeps eating my stash. Be the kind of woman that when your feet hit the ground each morning the devil says, "OH CARP, SHE'S UP"! :whistle:0
