 Afternoon all - Just having a bit of a catch up with you before I start the ironing.
I love your gloves PepPop- wouldn't have a clue where to start with them - totally clueless. Sorry to be a nuisance - but where was I to have a look for cross stitch?
I will have a look for S&G stuff next time I get out shopping tracey - will probably be next week now - big food shop tomorrow at Mr. M's. I really like No.7 stuff too - have ordered the little cosmetic bag for £6.25 online (collect instore next week). Don't know why I didn't order another 2 as they were on 3 for 2. Think I was trying to watch the pennies but they would have made nice little pressies - oh well too late now.
Good luck sparrer for your 'proper weigh day' - its good when you notice a difference with your clothes. When I set myself a target, things never seem to work out - so now I'm better off with 'whatever comes off - comes off' as long as it keeps coming off. Hope the waxing wasn't too painful - I've had mine done occasionally in the past - never thought of using it as a weight loss method though (brialliant):rotfl:
Sorry to hear that you have had a little gain this week mrsow. Hope you get back on track this week and you get a nice surprise next week. You just reminded me - chicken wraps - we haven't had them for ages. That's one meal sorted for the weekend. Tonight I am having pork steak with stirfry veggies in a sesame and soy sauce - don't know how long I will feel full for though
Keep up with all the hard work.

:hello: Hello podperson
Welcome to our gang - don't worry about the scales. I think we can sometimes become a bit obsessed with them and they can work against us. You'll probably notice with your clothes soon enough - good luck and let us know how you are doing.
mmmmmm banoffie pie eh? It seems ages ago since I had some of that.
Bye for now

Ok I have made a decision.... I am going to recommit to WWs. I am going to join on wednesday and do the monthly pass so I have no excuse. I will have to sacrifice other things to afford it but I think this is an investment worth it.
Just a quick question.... As I am going to do the monthly pass will I have to pay any joining fee? My memory tells me this was free if you did the monthly pass straight away but I dont want to turn up and have to pay even more especially with all the vouchers knocking around.0 -

Go online and do it that way. Not only do you get a monthly pass for £12.95 with no joining fee - but you get direct access to the esource so you can start counting points straight away. You can do monthly pass at the meeting but I found it much easier this way - still have to register at a mtg if you want to get weighed by a leader tho (but that doesn't cost anything).
Further monthly passes are £19.99.Donna
Economy; careful management; providence. Whether you call it thrifty or frugality it all comes down to getting more for your money.0 -

if you sign up to ww online via quidco, they have £15 cash back, and sign up for 3 months & get registration free
not sure if you can still go to meetings if you sign up online though. personally i am really getting on well with the online version. i can add/edit/remove foods, plan meals and accurately count points.
Tomorrow will be my second weigh in, so fingers Xed that i have lost a lb or 20 -
Weighed in today and have lost half a pound. Still going in the right direction.0

Right here comes confessions! I have been VERY naughty this week! Thursday was the curry and I did well as ordered chicken rogan BUT before going in the afternoon I ate 3 Hot Cross Buns so when at indian went halvers with a friend of chips and rice! Well I had already screwed up that day! Had to leave early as OH phoned and DS was ill so no dessert!
Then Friday after a night of no sleep with DS I just picked a bit but didnt do too badly as in bed by half 8! Today YET AGAIN I have scoffed! Hot cross buns for breakfast, 2 x crisps even though they are Golden lights and Malteasers so I went for it and had a big family spag bol and Chocolate Orange pudding with ice cream!
NO WEIGH IN TOMORROW! I will cry if no when I see the scales go UP! So weigh in cancelled and back on diet SERIOUS!
Right thanks all got that off my chest and feel a bit better!
BIG TIP DO NOT BUY HOT CROSS BUNS EVEN IF THEY ARE ON BOGOF!!! (GRRR to whoever mentioned that earlier in the thread must have been on my mind when in Tesco shopping!:xmassmile**New** Thrifty Gifty Money Making for Christmas and all occasions 2012**:xmassmileMember No. 11 of Happy Chappy's Clip Strip Club!
