Legend did you measure yourself when you started? If you did, do it again - you could be losing inches not weight - which is what you want really. Would you rather be 10stone and in a size 10 or 10 stone and in a size 12/14??? Inches is always better.

Get the string out pronto - so you have something to check. ;)

How much have you lost now? Is it 7lb? Get 3 bags of sugar and carry that for ten minutes - that's a bit less than what you've lost. You try it - it's heavy.

Be proud of how you've done so far.

Here goes, confession time - last week I had a terrible four days and ate for England. That's why I've been awol from this thread - I was too embarrassed. I was determined to carry on though, because My mum goes to WW with me and she'd give up if I didn't go. DD1 is following the plan, but not going to meetings - If I gave up so would she.

Monday morning I weighed and I'd put 4lbs on. I didn't go to WW (i told my mum I was ill). But I did start properly again and have been doing it properly all week. I've not touched any of my 49 bonus points, so I'm quite happy with that.

Weigh-in is in the morning so fingers crossed I'll have lost my four pounds again.

I am thinking of heading back to WWs. As much as I hate to admit it the fear of standing on that scale in front of someone is definately what I need! Is anyone on the new WWs Pro Points program and how do you find it in comparison to the old program (which is what I did)?

I'm a total devotee to ww's. It's the only plan that has worked for me and I've lost 6 stones three times (my trouble is keeping it off).

The new points take a while to get used to, it's like starting all over again as all the points values have changed. It's good though because it's like being a newbie. You also get 49 points per week to use as you like (save them all for a night out or use an extra 7 per day) it's up to you. Fruit is now free - all fruit, even bananas which are quite high in points on the old plan.

It's gone up to £5.95 per week now though. Monthly pass is £15.95 for the first month (i think) I'm going to buy mine tomorrow, and £19.95 per month afterwards.

Good luck with what you decide.

I managed to do a little workout on the Wii Fit yesterday. I'm still building up my strength after being ill, so taking it easy for now. I'm a little disappointed today as I was going to my parents for Sunday lunch, but my Mum is feeling poorly, so that's cancelled. It's meant I had to get something out of the freezer to eat, the only thing that will defrost in time is sausages, so I'm going to make a stew with a load of veggies and I'll bring some to work tomorrow too.

Today's plan now involves defrosting the freezer and making a meal plan for the week ahead. I may pop the Wii Fit on after that and have another go on the obstacle course-it's good fun.

:grouphug: to everyone who needs it this week xxx

I am not looking forward to WI tomorrow Ive felt bloated all week and had a sneak peak and so far Ive put 1lb on. I really need to stop peaking as Im terrible for it.

Another WW Pro Pointer here, still trying to get my head around it and still not 100% sure what to do with the 49 weekly points, to eat or not to eat, that is the question

TOONIE I love the obstacle course on the wii fit and usually end up shouting at it when the big balls hit me :p

ELYSIA Dont ever be embarrassed to tell us youve fell off the wagon as I think we all have done it or will do it in the near future. Just before Christmas I had a bad week, everything was annoying me so I ate 2 tubes of Pringles in about an hour and a half :o:o:eek: Im sure you will have a great loss this week xxx

Going on exercise bike for half an hour then out to visit friends, avoiding her kitchen as its like a sweet shop :eek:

    Toonie and Blue_eyed_girl thankyou

you are right 2/3lbs a week is nice and steady which my mum also told me

and also i agree that losing inches is even better, sometimes u can have dieted and lost no weight but lost inch's instead which is fab

as i have weekends off i treated myself to a bottle of cider but found after i had what i can only explain as cramps in my tummy for some reason, never had this effect before so can only put it down to the fact ive been eating good stuff all week then put something in my body that was to rich for my tummy??

:grouphug: to those that need it,heres to a another week:)

    elysia :T:T:T:T:T Great loss missus!!!!!

Ok I need some help or should I say tips. My OH works shifts which means I'm either on my own till he comes in from work at 10.30pm or from 8pm when he goes to his bed. The problem is if I sit and watch tv then I just eat rubbish all night - if I distract myself with the laptop I'm fine but I can't spend all night every night on the comp just to stop eating cr*p. Do any of you have this problem and if so any suggestions?

    Thanks so much Peppop

You need a hobby to distract you. I'm sorry I'm so forgetful - are you on the cardmaking thread? How about making a big stash of cards, or colouring images ready. Take up knitting, crochet, cross stitch to keep your hands busy or puzzles to keep your brain active. (sorry, I don't mean it the way it sounds).

This is online but something a bit differnet - If you like bingo - go to bingoport.co.uk and play online bingo for free. You earn points and when you get enough points you get a £5 Amazon voucher - then you can treat yourself to something that's not chocolate ;)
