well done fortune (and everyone else). according to the wii fit, ive also lost 4lbs this week too - but i dont think i'm suposed to weigh until tomorrow??? not really sure to be honest. WW didnt prompt me to weigh this morning when i logged on (i joined on a sunday, but i would have dieted for one week by today).

anyway, I have done a fair bit of exercise this week and i am a bit tired/exhausted now. I have been on my exercise bike about 5 times and i went to Zumba on Wednesday. So I dont think i will do this much next week - just Zumba and perhaps only 2 or 3 sessions on my bike.

On the plus side, i think i might be in the process of twisting my dads arm into dieting too. He does a fair bit of exercies too, but eats whatever he wants and is a few stone overweight. I am hopeing that my sucess will spur him on! So theres another good reason for me to lose the weight.

Hollie, 2/3lbs a week is fine, really. Unless you've got a lot of weight to lose then that's a good amount to be losing, as you don't want to lose too much to quickly or it will be muscle mass and water that you are losing as opposed to fat. Don't forget, quite often, in the first week you will seem to have not lost much weight if exercising, because muscle weighs more than fat.

    Evening all,

Just had a nice soak in the bath - now suitably attired in fluffy dressing gown with a nice cup of tea - catching up with all your posts (started back at page 1). Much more interesting than sat night tv and whilst I'm reading how well everyone is doing, I'm not tempted to go on the hunt for nibbles

:T :TWell done Fortune SatNav and Hollie - what great losses. Agree with you Fortune - 2011 is going to be our year.:T:T

If your weigh-in is looming - good luck everyone and hope you are rewarded for all the effort you have made.

  • Hello ladies :D. My laptop and comptuer both broke down on me so I have been missing from MSE forums for a few weeks when you add in the christmas stresses! Have borrowed a laptop till mine is back on form and was hoping I could join you all :D. I am very keen to be able to look in a mirror and smile at what looks back at me rather than think 'if only that wasnt there, and that was abit thinner.'

I did WWs on 2009 and did well on it although having a few holidays meant I was always going back 5 steps as they were all inclusive! I had to quit for money reasons and put all the weight back on but over the last few months I have managed to loose it myself again but now Im stuck at this point, so I could definately do with this thread me thinks :D.

I am thinking of heading back to WWs. As much as I hate to admit it the fear of standing on that scale in front of someone is definately what I need! Is anyone on the new WWs Pro Points program and how do you find it in comparison to the old program (which is what I did)?

Well weigh in this morning and no loss! Grrr still the same¬!
My own stupid fault because we had chippy night last night and I had a mini bottle of wine! Should really do treat night on a Sunday after weigh in as when I did a sneaky weigh on friday I had lost 1lb! New rule! Treat yourself on weigh in night!
Also have done no dancing this week so thats another reason! At least I can pin point the reasons why!
Much more effort to be made this week! Good luck ladies!

Oh dear, think I'm following in your footsteps Legendmum. Had a sneak preview on Thursday and was 11st 3lb, at this mornings proper weigh day I was back to 11st 4lb, same as last Sunday. Must go up and down the stair more! Got two handrails now so there's no excuse. Consolation, everyone plateau's from time to time, and at least there's no weight on ;). However I'm determined to get down to 11st 2lb before 4th Feb which is only 12 days away, then I'll have lost 1st from start date so all systems go from here on. Good luck everyone :)
