  • I have just been out to try and deliver my last 2 orders, one lady i even collared yesterday but claimed she only had £20 and i didnt have any SMALL change, so said id call bk today, No reply yet she knew what time id call! I mean its not as if the order was worth much only £2.25! I'm starting to think i'll drop this lady off soon, as as it is this is the lady i GAVE her last order to her as it was my fault it was so late to be delivered.

One lady has ordered nearly £60 worth of stuff, i just hope i dont have the same issue with her as the last time she ordered a big one, as she claimed the other half was her daughter, and i had to try n resell half the order amount!

    BUT fingers crossed!

I always have a bag of small change - mostly £1's but with a fiver, few 50's and a little small silver and copper. Most of mine are pretty good in having the right money so tend to come come really weighed down with coins!

  • I always seem to end up with a load of coins too - took one of the kiddies delivering last time, and a few customers told him to keep the change, which he was loving!
  • id litterally not long givern out the last of the small change i had had at the time, so its not like i hadnt gone out with some, just used it all lol. But its the fact she KNEW i was coming, and i KNEW she was in i could hear her, its the last order i now have left to deliver, And as it is what id ordered for my own stuff means i wont be seeing my comission so its not like i can just pay for it myself then wait for her to pay up again soon.

One of my ladies has asked if she can take my box of stuff off me, to try and sell on my behalf to a group of her lady friends, Seems like an avon party without the avon rep lol. I'm slightly apprehensive about it, BUT i dont think she will be going to rip me off. Maybe i will say to her that if she does shift a certain amount of it, then she can have 10% off her next order!

Yes, they see me coming in the bank now! Have found though that if you bag all your change up with the same coin in each bag (ie a bag of of £1 coins, a bag of 50p's, a bag of 1p's), and take it into the bank, they'll weigh it and tell you how much is in each bag so you don't have to count it. Then I use it to pay off my Avon account while I'm there, and pay the remainder (hopefully) into my current account. I have to pay for the petrol to get to the bank, but I'm convinced its cheaper than paying the 50p at the post office to pay my bill.

It can take another day though sometimes for my account to show as paid on the avon website.

Is this money saving expert or time saving expert ... ?

The reason it takes so long to show on your account, is because Avon manually add the figure to your account, I think they do this so they can check for credits/recredits, etc.
  • Just got my Avon delivery this morning so no time to chat at the mo but just a heads up to everyone.... check your invoices very carefully. I did some returns in December (as did other members on my team) and we've all been recharged for the products even though they were returned via the carrier as normal. Between that 'little' prob and my shortages, don't think am ever going to get my Avon parcelled up today!!
Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon ;))
  • Ooooo - Anyone received these?

    New online Customer Panel, AvonListens

Avon is introducing an online panel, AvonListens, for customers to regularly give their views on Avon. Panel members will have the opportunity to share their opinions on Avon products and be able to give their views on forthcoming brochure pages. Every time a customer completes a survey for Avon they will be entered into a draw to win cash prizes. Randomly selected national Representatives in Campaign 4 will receive some flyers included in their orders for them to share with their customers. Customers will also be invited to join AvonListens via Avon Connects and through our Facebook page. We are continually striving to make our brochures and offers attractive to customers and will use the feedback received to improve brochures, products, offers and increase customers’ engagement with Avon.

yes I noticed this on my last invoice, stuff I KNOW I gave to the courier last time I have been charged again for.

They do this, and when you email or call, they say oh yes, that's fine.

    sloppy work!

    Feel a bit ill now.

Conveniently, I can't get into the site at work as it's been blocked by our websweeper.
