Just got my Avon delivery this morning so no time to chat at the mo but just a heads up to everyone.... check your invoices very carefully. I did some returns in December (as did other members on my team) and we've all been recharged for the products even though they were returned via the carrier as normal. Between that 'little' prob and my shortages, don't think am ever going to get my Avon parcelled up today!!

Quite sure I won't have this problem as I'm the slacker in my case - have had returns I've been meaning to send back since before Christmas and they are STILL waiting for me to get them sorted!!!

Got a load more to do this campaign, and I'm going to have to do them to cancel out the recharges!!

The last few campaigns theres always been one item not credited, even though the rest of the box of stuff has been processed fine. Emailing and moaning & including the barcode number and requesting to be recredited usually works, occaisionally they want a scanned copy of the returns form, but I've never had to give that (so far lol).

I have a separate bank account that I use for avon, but only because OH had an old bank account that he didn't use anymore, but we'd left open just in case, so we just pay the money into that. That way its separate, so after the bills have been paid we know the money left is ours to put into savings/withdraw to pay deposits etc for wedding. Or lately, for paying to get the shower fixed, which still isn't complete a month later!!!

  • Back page of HT6, there's an 'Anew Clinical Beauty Bonus', anyone know if the Clinical Eye Lift in that is full size?

Yeah it should be, as I don't think they've ever done a trial size for the eye creams. I'm ordering myself a couple of sets (if they're in stock lol) as I'm running out of eye cream and fancy trying the anew one (usually use the solutions one and don't think its strong enough now lol).

  • I am so excited!!! :D As TSL have now got 4 in my team and ASM has promised to pass me a name she has although she does seem a little reluctant to do so - don't undestand as surely it is better for her if qualify properly?

Anyhoo, feeling positive, got a confirmed booking for an event in May and hopefully another in July, planning to take part in a 'group swoop' with ASM and fellow SL's in a week and considering holding a party.

How do you guys manage reps that do not have internet access? 2 of my newbies don't have it and ASM says they can't use paper order forms. She has offered to take their orders over the phone from them and input - but surely not everyone has acess to a PC these days?

If you were under a sl, then yes we benefit more if you're qualified - but it doesn't make any difference for an asm to be honest as they don't earn from yours, or your teams sales.

Yes, unfortunately avon got rid of paper ordering - if reps were already ordering by paper then they can continue to do so, but anyone new cannot, think it was brought in about C16 last year. There is free internet access at local libraries, and plenty of peoples family/friends have the internet that they could borrow to just input their orders. Or they can ring their orders up themselves.

Can I ask a quick question about brochere bags? are they worth getting? they seem quite reasonable for 50 for 80p but I just wondered who uses them really. I am using freezer bags atm which do the job ok but they were quite a bit dearer and for a lot less! opinions would be gratefully recieved.

I got some brochure bags for the first time with my last delivery. No holes. They look more professional than freezer bags (which I used to have to use at first), with a black "Avon" logo across the bottom quarter. That logo's going to cover something, though, so I choose to have it cover the front of the brochure. I put a note in the back so I didn't want it to cover that up at all. Just something to consider when laying out a note or flyer so the info you really want people to see isn't going to get covered up.

You have to fold the form over the top of the brochure, or fold it in half, because the bag's a bit too short. Can't really do flagging unless you can make a tiny bit poke out the top.

At the moment I'm using them on network people and will start using them on a few regulars who I don't need to flag anymore. Otherwise I use the bags recommended on the first page of this thread, which are just the right size for a flagged brochure and don't have any frozen food labels/tips written on them.
I used to have my Avon turnover (sales) here. They've been removed because it's not appropriate to talk about those kinds of sales as if they're realistic for a new Rep to aim for. :( I signed up at the right time, right place, and was very lucky.

I buy the brochure bags. Think they look more professional although for a while I did use freezer bags. I tend to cut the bottom off the order forms in order to make them fit into the bags! Even customers commented on how nice they looked when I first started using them.
