Well so far my orders for c2 and c3 are up at over £135 which is great :) Should be another couple of orders coming too with any luck ;) My new area isn't the nicest but there is one really nice lady there who's passed on my details to everyone she can think of which is lovely! And I called her about a query today and she let me know someone had been door knocking on the road yesterday grrrr Asking if anyone was interested in Avon - I'm a bit annoyed as I know these roads have had 4 reps in the last 6 months and I'm intending to stick with them but now some young upstart is knocking on them before I have had a chance to canvass them all! GAAAAAH!!!! :)
Thankfully my customers daughter told her there is already a very nice Avon rep on these roads thank you - so hoping she goes somewhere else :)
Getting more and more fustrated with the local "big" rep... she's got fingers in pies everywhere and is apparently a big earner... which is nice but means no matter what my protestations about her not recanvassing areas for years they are not likely to release ones she doesn't already canvass to others. Like busyrascal I've lived here over 5 years and never had a single Avon brochure through my letterbox - apparently she has a regular customer base and doesn't recanvass at all meaning that there is loads of people like me who wanted Avon but ended up ordering online instead of through a rep... I canvassed part of my road (about 35 houses and I have 5 customers (all people I know!) as a result! Imagine how many more are out there!!! *sigh*

    Oh well :)

busyrascal79 - maybe after putting your first order in you could contact your ASM explaining why you'd like your street. I say wait just because they might want to be sure you're going to place an order and pay for it before giving more territory. As much as I'd always say everyone has to stick within the rules of territory I sympathise with reps who are looking at a street - possibly their own - and being told it's covered when they haven't seen a book for ages. 6 years definitely counts as ages! Just scrolled down a bit and saw Mrs Tine's post which pretty much echos what I've been thinking. I don't understand how you can be a "big" rep - therefore having to put quite a bit of time and effort into your Avoning anyway - and not doing a recanvas ever. I'm saving expired brochures for a recanvas that I'll staple a note to. Minimal effort and cost. I'll drop them in while doing my rounds as usual. Would take about 5 mins extra per street.
I used to have my Avon turnover (sales) here. They've been removed because it's not appropriate to talk about those kinds of sales as if they're realistic for a new Rep to aim for. :( I signed up at the right time, right place, and was very lucky.

.. completely forgot, if i orderd something that ended up being out of stock, will they send it to me when they get it in stock? x

Depends whether they expect to get more stock soon or not. Your invoice will tell you what's happened per item.

i have just been and collected my books back from my 1st 10 customers that were ready and expected a crappy response due to being skint after christmas. did c2 and c3 together and am already up to £110 got 28 more customers to collect from yet am very surprised! i am just lucky most of my customers are avon addicts due to me doing f and f and puting up posters advertising myself in local shops so my customers mostly came to me. how is everyone else doing this camp? happy avoning xxxxx
  • Happy New Year everyone!

Had a bit of a break from Avon over Christmas, and just ordered a few goodies for myself.... Now I'm struggling to get back into it!

Only got a couple of orders for C3 (which I've done along with C2) so far and 6 days to go :o

Just wondered if anyone has the link for C5 and HT6 yet, or if I'm jumping the gun? I know the links were on the first page of the old thread but can't see them on here anywhere, and they only went up to C4/HT5..... I'd try and find them myself but I have no idea how to!
 I have this theory that chocolate slows down the ageing process.... It may not be true, but do I dare take the chance?
