I'm based near burton/derby. If your sl finished, then you'll fall under whoever signed your sl up, which could be another sl or the area manager. Though with the asm not telling you I suspect you might still be under a sl.

Not 100% certain on the mm, but have a feeling they count in the campaign they're charged.

I have a customer with a teenage daughter (she's about 17 now) who has been religiously using the clearskin professional for the last 2 years. I'd say it's fine for teenagers, I think they just Market it more for adults so that we buy it rather than adults thinking it's just for kids. If that makes sense lol.

I posted yesterday about how an established rep has canvassed my road as I had a book through the other day. I phoned her and she said she "didn't realise" my team leader said she was in the wrong and is "looking into it".
Anyway, went to deliver to a cumstomer on my road and asked if she had recieved a book from this other rep to which she said no, so it seems that only half the road was done! (she sent her husband round to do it) and it's a small road as well!

I only have two customers on this road so I hope she doesn't steal any potential customers...

What to do?

MsrGSR - I can understand your annoyance, but have you re-canvassed the road recently? Where I live there IS a local rep but in the 6 years I've lived here I've never had an Avon book... so when I had asked Avon for different territory as they gave me an industrial estate (trust me... not even girl receptionists in these places LOL) and nothing happened for weeks I thought sod it and canvassed half my road... The local rep went nuts but frankly my sympathy is limited... If she'd re-canvassed regularly then fair enough! But it's been 6 YEARS since she did that if not more... and I did clearly put a little note on them asking them to let me know if they had another rep already or not as then I wouldn't bother them again blah blah blah

Soon as the other rep complained to the ASM though it was amazing how fast I got allocated territory! And I still have 4 regular customers in my road too - 2 that she's never canvassed and 2 that can't stand her... (not saying you're like that!!! )

Do recanvass your road if you haven't for a while... otherwise another rep might think like I did that there wasn't anyone doing the road...

Well as I have only been doing Avon for a few weeks I was told that this road had not been canvassed for years and so it was added to my territory. So I only canvassed it last week:eek: also she lives the other side of town to me and I live on this road lol.
As it is only 1 person ordered and one asked for another book so doubt she will get anything, will just annoy people!

Well my territory list came through last night. One road is mainly shops and empty flats above. Its a main road and the address numbers jump all over the place so that could prove interesting. Think I'll leave that road until last The other roads aren't so bad, but I'm rather confused as to why I have been given the even side of my road but not the odds I'm guessing that the rep down the road who only does f&f might have something to do with it but *shrugs*

Off to read back through the 1st post properly (and probably this thread) to make sure I can get up and running to the best of my ability

nicki, when I first joined Avon, I was only given the odds side of my road, where I live, not the even. I thought someone must do it, but NO, Avon just chose not to give it to me.

As it's done by postcode it'll probably be that the other side of the road has a different postcode so could belong to another rep.

nicki - enjoy dealing with those house number jumping all over the place. I have that in my village because there's a jumble of houses and some numbers don't exist, sometimes a whole set of houses don't exist anymore, houses that look like they're on one street are part of another one...

On the plus side those shops could prove fruitful - or at least convenient to deal with because they always have the book ready whether there's an order or not. I've got one shop who never has the time to look and has never ordered so I've just moved them onto every other campaign. Last time I couldn't get my book back because she was on the phone and waved me out of the shop.

When you first join they tend not to give you loads of streets so the odds on the other side of the road might have been number 5 on the list and you've been given streets 1-4. If you ask for more territory in a campaign or two the odds could well be added to your list.

yes, I thought the other side belonged to a Rep, but later when I asked for more territory, they gave it to me, and no Rep ever had had that side when I started.

as its done by postcode, it can be allocated a bit at random. one one of my streets theres a few tiny cul de sacs, only about 20 houses altogether. they belong to another rep, which seems stupid when theyve got to walk along my road to do these few houses that are split into little batches of 5.
