yes, I think it was Lozza who said that Avon shouldn't penalise you because something was out of stock, so takes you below your order value of HoV.
Keep on at them until they send you what you have qualified for. Email though, don't go through the call centre.
Thanks, I'm going to email them now and hopefully get it all sorted! I have this theory that chocolate slows down the ageing process.... It may not be true, but do I dare take the chance?0 -
Is anyone else on here going to any of the EROS Motivational Team meetings? I have one in Exeter today, hoping for a few freebies and looking forward to meeting some other repsEveryone loves a bargain :beer:0

I am thinking about doing an avon round. Is it really worth it and do any of you earn a reasonable amount per campaign? Also does anyone have a web page for their business or give out an email address for customers to contact with orders?0

moneywise it depends for everyone on your streets and houses and who was to order, one campaign you could get alot of orders from alot of your houses and then another one you could just get a handful, as long as you meet your min order value usually £78 then you'll make money, ive only been doing avon since december (about to start my 4th campaign) and my first 3 have got me between £20-£25. i think it helps aswell to have family and friends that will order from you and maybe if you take it into work with you if no-one else does it there and that would probebly get you more orders too. i dont work atm so i get my money off my territory and f&f.
after youve done avon for abit you can always ask for more streets aswell on top of your old ones which will help increase your earnings too.
(hope ive explained right, but your in the best place for any help and advice on this thread)
- i know it doesnt sound like alot but the way i see it is its money i wouldnt have had otherwise0 -
Hi Silentotter- I think it would be fair to say that for the most part, you get back returns based on the effort you put in. My last campaign went really well, and I ended up with earnings around the £80 mark, less the cost of my brochures etc of course. Some of the girls on here routinely do better than that. If you can put the time into making things look professional, and are willing to put the legwork in not only with dropping the brochures off but taking the time to talk to customers when you do deliveries etc, it really can pay off. If you want people to trust you enough to put in decent orders, then treat it like any other business you were running, and they will feel confidence in you and be happy to deal with you.
My customers have an email address and my mobile number for me - relatively few use the email but a fair number text.
Right - I might be completely telling everything something they already knew here, however, Elliebee never sussed it in her three years so...
I noticed the other day that when you view your order via the "view subtotal" option, and then when your invoice arrives, everything prints out in brochure page order. It becomes SO much easier to find things you want to check on once you know that, I thought it was worth sharing!Apologies if everone else knew this and it was just me who was being blonde! (And Elliebee of course! :rotfl:)

LOL - When I mentioned it to Ellibee she said "I never realised! It would have made things so much easier if I'd known!" - if you look at your C3 invoice it becomes quite obvious once you've made the connection as the speed dry nailvarnishes and the scales all come right at the end, and of course they were at the back of the brochure. I then checked a few other bits and sure enough, everything falls into its sections, in order as per the brochure!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Hi, I'm glad I found this thread!
I have been an avon rep since october. My first two campaigns I did really well, just on work colleagues and friends and family. Then I my next two were not so good but campaign 4 things picked up at work again.
I have recently been putting brochures through doors but out of 30 brochures I put out I only had 1 sale. I was never given a territory so it's just been a case of choosing which roads near me to go down.
Was just wondering if I should of been given a territory?Proud to be dealing with my Debts!

Hi Hunnibunni,
you need to contact your ASM and ask for territory. You are probably on another Rep's area and that is why you are not picking up many customers. Contact your ASM and tell her you want to be assigned territory. Good luck.0 -
As an alternative for the botanics I'd suggest the avon care face creams as they're quite plain, and then either the solutions radiance eye gel or the planet spa one, think theres a new eye cream for that range. Reason I say that is cos my mum loves the botanics range as they're good for her sensitive skin, and I'm sure the things I've suggested shouldn't affect sensitive skin.Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0
