Feeling a bit dim because I didn't notice that my customer wasn't entitled to the Anew gift set in C4. She'd ordered a cleanser, and in the small print it says that cleaners aren't an eligible product. Carp. My order went in on Tuesday. Either everyone else had spotted it, or no-one has because there's been no rumblings about it either here or on Connects (unlike about the bathroom scales offer confusion).
I used to have my Avon turnover (sales) here. They've been removed because it's not appropriate to talk about those kinds of sales as if they're realistic for a new Rep to aim for. :( I signed up at the right time, right place, and was very lucky.

  • Right - I might be completely telling everything something they already knew here, however, Elliebee never sussed it in her three years so...

I noticed the other day that when you view your order via the "view subtotal" option, and then when your invoice arrives, everything prints out in brochure page order. It becomes SO much easier to find things you want to check on once you know that, I thought it was worth sharing! :o Apologies if everone else knew this and it was just me who was being blonde! (And Elliebee of course! :rotfl:)

    Never noticed that, thanks x

Strangely I ordered a cleanser online and it said I had qualified for the free gift.... I don't know if it would be more profitable for you to do a one off online order if you can use the free gifts or sell them on?

As an alternative for the botanics I'd suggest the avon care face creams as they're quite plain, and then either the solutions radiance eye gel or the planet spa one, think theres a new eye cream for that range. Reason I say that is cos my mum loves the botanics range as they're good for her sensitive skin, and I'm sure the things I've suggested shouldn't affect sensitive skin.

Thanks for that Lozza, the customer was so annoyed at having to try and find an alternative. I had given her samples for the solutions day & night cream but I may just order her one of the Avon Care creams as a gift.
What area are based in as I haven't had a SL since last summer, I asked my ASM about it but she never got back to me

Even if I go on the website to get the free Anew gift I'll have to pay postage or spend X amount to get free postage. I'll ring her and explain, and show her the small-print in person when I do the delivery. If she's not happy to pay £9.50 for the cleanser on its own I'll offer it to her at the C5 price of £6.50. Then I'll order another one from C5 and return it as the C4 one. That way I won't have lost out on earnings. I'll have earned less than if I'd sold for £9.50, but that's better than losing the sale altogether.

Should be a relaxing delivery day next Monday. Husband is away so I've had to put back deliveries until Wednesday.

  • Sorry if I sound like a sulky toddler here but..

How is that fair, if a customer buys online she can have the freebies with just buying a cleanser, which start at £7.50, yet if a customer buys from us they have to spend at least double that to get the freebies????

There's a free delivery code I got emailed to me - LOVE7 - although you have to spend £15 to qualify so that won't really help.
  • I'm sure this has probably been answered before, but when I order Moneymaker products, does the total count towards MOV on that order or when they are delivered?

To add to the eye roller debate, am trying one now and have given one to my mum who has difficulty twisting the end due to numbness in her fingers, so might not be good for her but she's persevering! Does feel a bit sticky to me and haven't noticed a difference yet but will keep going. Always good to know they can be returned.

Also, am thinking of getting the Clearskin Professional for my daughter who is 13 and suffering from bad acne to her shoulders/back. Have asked on Connects, but does anyone here have experience of this regime? I've been told that it is for adults, but the ordinary Clearskin didn't do anything for her.

    Thanks, Ness

newbeginning - don't worry, I was thinking the same thing re the fairness of the offer. Thanks for the code - I always forget that the regular website is there in an emergency should we ever need it, although in this case I'd be losing out.
