I've got one of my customers on C4 and I'm on C5 now, she's only ever ordered once from me though, anyway she's ordered an Anew cream, so I'm thinking of being a fantastic rep and giving her the freebies I'll get from ordering in C5
Would anyone else do that or is that being over generous?

Yes I think the botanics stuff has been discontinued, but it crops up in the clearance booklets pretty regularly and in HT clearance too. Worth keeping your eye open to get some for your customer.
As you can imagine my customer is not very happy, I can get hold of some for her but she doesn't want any. She is annoyed she now has to try and find a replacement. I emailed Avon CS and asked what replacement would be suitable. They gave me a load of faff about older products being fazed out but didn't help with the replacement !!0 -
I just wanted to post here as its due to this thread that I finally did it. I'm now an rep
Just been given C5 to start on but will be getting C4 books next week as well. My territory is already at 100+ houses and will be allocated more when my ASM emails me with definite streets
I live in a built up area of terraced houses and nearly all roads are 100+ so I can't wait to get started.
I'm going to spend the next couple of nights reading back through the threads for hints and tips so I can provide the best customer service I can as well as be as prepared as possible for all the hiccups that can happen.Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -

if shes only ever ordered once then i think its a good idea and i would do that too, it might encourage her to order more from you and if she likes the freebies she may order them too when shes run out.
she'll see she can get some great things from avon if she gives it ago and get you some more orders!!0 -

I sold some of my stock that I had left over from over christmas that I havent managed to send back, being unorganised that i am!! so basically I wanted to make a good impression to that person and thought 'why not put a little note in with order to say thankyou' so this is what i've came up with:
Many Thanks for your order.
If you have any question's or queries then please feel free to contact me on the following:

Excellent idea! I used to put in a similar note; mine went like this:
Thank you for choosing Avon. Your goodies are enclosed and I hope you will enjoy them. I have also enclosed the latest brochure.
I shall be placing my next order on Wednesday **date**, so all orders need to be with me by 7pm on that day. The order will be delivered to me on Wednesday **date** and I hope to be able to make all my deliveries by the following weekend.
As always, don’t forget that you can order by phone, text or email, or just contact me and I’ll collect your order
Contact details...........

I had an email from my ASM the other day asking me to confirm to her which roads I covered and which house numbers. I got given 5 new roads just before Xmas and have canvassed them once so far, no orders. My ASM reckons I should be able to get £450 worth of orders......where on earth do they get their stats from !!
Apparantly Avon are wanting to ensure that they get all their territory covered by reps.0 -
i think im going to give that ago! then people dont have to worry if they have a last minute order they can always email it to me if they know my order days, i dont know why ive never thought of that before, thanks!!!0

i had that when i first started they gave me 4 streets with 250+ houses and they came up with around the same earnings if i had so many houses order off each street, out off those 4 streets and those houses i have 7 houses that order and im lucky to get more then £50 off them, the rest of my orders come from family and friends!0 -
They use some complicated formula that gives them the average number of customer orders per road, it doesn't actually take into account if there are people on that road that buy, want to buy, etc. I think some of it is based on previous people ordering from that road, but whether that is from the avon shop directly I am not sure.0

Really disappointed, as it's not my fault the items are currently out of stock...
Is it worth me contacting Avon to query this?
yes, I think it was Lozza who said that Avon shouldn't penalise you because something was out of stock, so takes you below your order value of HoV.
Keep on at them until they send you what you have qualified for. Email though, don't go through the call centre.0
