The latest installment of Territory Statistics...

Previously on Territory Statistics: I lost a total of 3 brochures out of 24 dropped. One new customer.

    This week:
    20 brochures dropped
    9 definite nos
    1 person says 4 times a year
1 person has a daughter as a rep
    4 non-readers who didn't tick my form
    1 reader who didn't tick
4 reminders left to collect next week
    0 new customers

Sounds similar to what I got yesterday. I was amazed that on the area I thought would be rubbish I got 4 orders and one to collect yet the posh area so far is proving to be that of no interest:(

Quick question about returns. I have two items that I put through the Avon website system on two separate occasions; therefore I have two returns forms to fill in. I remember someone saying you can put them in the same box and staple the returns forms together. What should I put on the forms where it says ‘Qty in parcel’ and ‘number of products?’ I am assuming I should then put one barcode on the box and fill in the same number on both forms.

The way I do it (not sure if it's right but hasn't caused any problems over the last 2 years) is...

If your 1st returns for is for 3 products and your 2nd returns form is for 5 products then on form 1 put total products '3' and the barcode (last 4 digits) and on form 2 put total products '5' and the same barcode digits.

The put both forms in the box and tape the barcode on top.

    I often send 5 or 6 forms at a time, I don't staple them together as I don't have a stapler :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Just make sure the courier signs all the 'your copy' forms xx

I just fill the forms in separately - so on each form put 1 item as qty in parcel & number of products, but then use the same barcode number for both forms. it'll get processed fine x

chazolate - I did just that a couple of campaigns ago. One barcode - put the same number on both forms. I didn't staple the forms together. Where it said "qty in parcel" I put however many things were on that separate form. Same for number of products. So if I was returning 3 items on 1 form and 4 items on another, I'd put 3 and 4 as the quantity in parcel. If I had 1 bottle of shower gel on one form and exactly the same one on another, I'd still put the quantity as 1 on each form.

It seemed logical to me - but then that was a recent return so I might see them popping up as a recharge soon!

MrsGSR - the houses I went to yesterday were comfortably-off. Most were bungalows and even though it wasn't a retirement development, most of the people living there were pensioners. I find they're usually not interested but at least they tick the box and are very polite about it if you have to knock.
I used to have my Avon turnover (sales) here. They've been removed because it's not appropriate to talk about those kinds of sales as if they're realistic for a new Rep to aim for. :( I signed up at the right time, right place, and was very lucky.

  • Hmmm I'm in a pickle!
A customer of mine has ordered some renewal foaming cleanser (22434) (£8.50) and some renewal serum (32565) (£23.00)
In HT6 I can get the serum+samples+trial size for £11.50 but then her order would just be the cleanser, which she is not entitled to free gift.
Do you think the best thing to do would be to order the HT serum for £11.50 and buy her cleanser on the Avon website, paying the £3.50 postage from the profit I would make? So that she gets her free gift bag? Or is there an easier way around this?
    :)
  • hi everyone, one of my customers has asked if she can order the Botanical Vital Day Cream SPF 20, I have checked C3, C4, C5 brochures but cannot see it anywhere. Does anyone know if it has been discontinued(although I can't see any of the botanical stuff) I really hope not as whenever this customer orders anything something is always either missing or out of stock. I have just got her to trust in Avon again, if it isn't in any of the brochures does anyone have any I can purchase or do you know what a good replacement would be ?
    Thanks in anticipation :j

Just put the name of the product into google and clicked on Avonshop, it says this product is no longer available !! But I can get it on Amazon for £7, does anyone have one ?

If it's the one that was in C17 (50ml) - not sure exactly what the SPF was though - then I've just applied for credit to return one. Will be collected Thursday, so if it's the right one just let me know and I'll 'drag' it back out again.... :rotfl:
