hi all, need abit of help!

i've got a ladies night coming up and want to make the best possible impression to others! the last stall I had wasnt a huge success, so i'm wanting this one to be the best yet!! and why not!!

I've got business cards sorted!! thanks to vistaprint!! ) so should be able to spread the word easily!!

I'm in the process of doing posters/leaflets to go on table etc and am thinking of doing a raffle.. but have no idea what prize to do!! any ideas would be brill. all my ordering has to be out of c3/c4.

i've brought laminating sheets for a5 to laminate leaflets with latest offers etc! and also have got some sticky white lables- was thinking of using them to seal the paper bags. and have got 'thankyou for your order/purchase' to put in paper bags. am i missing anything???? x t.i.a x

Have a printed form and leave it with a pen on your table to take a note of anyone that wants a regular brochure. Have a load of brochures on your table and put your business card on the front, put a notice saying Please feel free to take one. Someone on here came up with the fab idea of folding your business cards in half and sticking a perfume sample in it to give out to people. Make sure you do a bargain box, I did 3, 1 for £3, 1 for £2 and 1 for £1 filled with stuff I have got free/bought from clearance etc. It was definitely the best seller at the stall I did...in fact it was the only seller :rotfl:

What about getting the Antler Round Glam Box as a prize for a raffle. It is huge and quite impressive looking (would look good if you put a big sign saying worth £69.99 on it too). Just make sure you don't give out the clearance brochures on the day if you do

as for the antler round glam box that sounds like a brill idea.. may do that! i've got a few weeks to get everything together, nothing like getting prepared!! seeings as im soo unorganised!
want to make this the best stall i've had! and hopefully it will pay off!

what does everyone think about wearing an avon t-shirt that's in the book? or is it not worth it???

I think all bargain bags have the same contents - just had a good feel of the 2 I bought from the outside. Plus the plastic is see-through enough that you can read what's on the box. Looked to see what they're going for online but it's not worth it once all the fees are taken off - presuming I sell in the first 30-day listing. Shall be sending them back.

Got a few products to demo this time (some are from the brochure). Tried the Footworks Lime and Sugar lotion and can't say I like the smell. It does smell of lime and sugar but it's not good... Smelt a bit stale - can't think of another way to describe it. Someone on Connects described a perfume as smelling like cigarettes and in a way this did too. A bit like a pub where you'd get a mixture of sugar from the drinks and smoke in the air. Also tried the new Glycerine Hand and Nail cream and thought it smelt very much like a cream you'd be prescribed - i.e. it's not supposed to smell nice, just get the job done. My hands feel nice and soft and it absorbed quickly. I've been using Planet Spa Shea Butter and even though it's buttery at first you get the sweetness just after that.

Keep getting single brochures added to my deliveries. I ordered C4s that came with my C3 delivery - got a single C5. Ordered C5s to come with C4 delivery - got a single C6. I thought they only did this when you hadn't ordered any brochures? Although I've not ordered brochures once or twice in the past (because I've stocked up for the next few campaigns in one go) and not received a single one then (or been invoiced). At the moment I can't order in advance because I'm doing a new area - no idea how many will be needed for future camps.

Not sure if this means impending bad news for later mailplans (and by later I mean anyone after A...) but they didn't have enough C5s delivered to give me all my C5s today. The delivery person said they'd be delivered tomorrow or Wednesday.

You're being sent a single brochure as you aren't ordering brochures in advance - BUT - they are returnable, just search on credits for "brochure", and you'll be able to return these single ones. Just use the code for "not ordered, but supplied and charged". MIL & OH do this, as they get their books from me so they're cheaper.

You are meant to order your brochures 2 campaigns ahead, so your C5 brochures would come with your C3 order & your C6's with your C4 order etc so your technically back ordering brochures which is why they'd be low on stock. I'm on Mailplan O (the last one) but had no problem with getting C5's as I ordered them with my C3 delivery xx This is also why you're being sent single brochures btw as you're not ordering what they say is the correct brochure at the correct time xx

Hi all.... please can someone point me in the right direction for the brochure links? I was sure I read that they were on front page, but can't find HT6 etc... Haven't got enought time to go through all the pages. Sorry to be a pain

I've the links that I've been provided with, and found a few myself - they are at the bottom of the first page. THis is where I'll always add them. Not sure if I've got that one though.

I suspected as much re. the single brochures - but I've definitely been in this position before (without being stocked-up on future brochures, ordering for the campaign that's already been running a week by delivery day) and not had a single one sent or invoiced. Got my bargain bags to return and the lime foot lotion and hand cream so it won't be alone in the box.
