I suspected as much re. the single brochures - but I've definitely been in this position before (without being stocked-up on future brochures, ordering for the campaign that's already been running a week by delivery day) and not had a single one sent or invoiced. Got my bargain bags to return and the lime foot lotion and hand cream so it won't be alone in the box.
I think sometimes it does a bit at random, or perhaps you ordered some of the "correct" brochures in a previous campaign, then just ordered extra, things like that can make them not send them out. That and whether its a full moon could affect it knowing avon at times lol :rotfl:Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0 -

Went quite well really, thanks. Actually my best one so far - am wondering if, like getting new customers, they improve the more you do?
I did the left/right game (prize was a free watch) and a raffle too for the first time (mainly freebies that I'd accumulated). Originally, thought of offering the bag full of goodies as one prize but when someone asked how many prizes there were I let them choose. They opted to split it down so winners could choose two items each so it meant that out of 11 people, who turned up, 8 won prizes. Everyone also got one of the free lipstick cards so that gave people a bit of a giggle too.
Apart from that, didn't do a lot other than just float and chat to people on a one-to-one basis about whichever products they seemed to be interested in. They even brought their own wine this time too :T (I'd got some Bucks Fizz in but they didn't want it! :rotfl:)
As ever, the contents of the 'bargain boxes' were the main sellers but I picked up a few new customers (one's an ex Silver PC rep, who may look at joining my team in the future :j) and did manage to sign up another ex-rep too! :beer:Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

I frankly hope that if my daughter gets bullied at school I won't have to force her to stay there but instead will have the ability to home school her to stop her going through the trouble I did...
Personally I like Gail - yes I'm biased as she's my SL - but what you see is what you getThere is no pretence and no fakeness to her... and I respect that
Don't get me wrong, yes, I thoroughly enjoyed chatting to her and you were mentioned in despatches too. I mentioned this thread to her and promised to send her a link (must add it to my Hit List, unless you'd like to mention it the next time you're in contact?)
Think she's really lovely and, as she said, her success means she can afford to home school her child, just a shame she has to.
Am quite jealous of you, MrsT; wish I was in her team too!(Can't even begin to compete with you on the other front either!! :rotfl:)

I've the links that I've been provided with, and found a few myself - they are at the bottom of the first page. THis is where I'll always add them. Not sure if I've got that one though.
Thanks lozza. Thought I had seen that they would be on page one, but couldn't find the HT6 one. Having a stressful week - funeral tomorrow, work Wed, funeral Thurs and baby turns 1 on Friday...
Said baby seems to have stolen HT mag and i can't find it anywhere :mad:Still looking for the plot...... Anyone seen it???0 -

I kept pretty quiet so don't know how to help you pick out who I was, (apart from being the only one to put on that lipstick sample they were giving out and keep it on the whole time, then sitting in the foyer of the hotel not realising it made me look more like I was touting for business rather than there on a meeting :rotfl:). If ever your in Exeter again, give me a shout.
I think Gail is lovely, and boy has she worked hard to get where she is. I love the fact she is so open and honest. Oh sure, I know alot of it is hyped to make us all think we could make it there but if it works!!! Can't see myself door knocking for an hour every morning before work but then if I wanted her kind of success that badly....I would!!! I think Avon should arrange more of these get togethers for Reps and SLs as it was great being surrounded by like minded people.
So you didn't 'pull' then?! :rotfl:
Yes, look forward to meeting up at some point; we seem to agree in a lot of areas.
Strangely enough I met my ASM leaving as I was arriving. She mentioned a SL meeting shortly in South Molton but am 408 so think that's a different area from you. Think I will make the effort; am not normally one for all these meetings but they do seem to 'gee' you up. :TMake the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

Just a little nosey question,
Wonder how many streets have people got on there round all together?
I just taken on another 4 roads plus 3 i all ready had. Wonder if there a max they can give you?
Take care x x
As far as I know there's not a maximum per se.... It depends more on how much free territory there is near you, how many reps there are in your vicinity and how you are performing i.e. whether you are hitting the order levels that Avon conjure up that should be possible from your existing territory. If you do ever come up against the answer that you've got the maximum no. of houses, work out which streets are the hardest/least profitable for you to cover and relinquish those as territory (keeping your customers there on a F&F basis) and request new streets....

Quick question about the bargain bags in C4 sale book:
Do they have the same contents in every one? Or have I got them confused with the bargain box that appears in HT?
Thanks
Yes, each bargain bag in each campaign has the same contents. Sometimes I order two, open one and then if I think the contents may appeal to one/some of my customers I can offer them an unopened one knowing exactly what the contents are. (Somehow they don't seem to like it once it's opened...)Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

Yes, difficult decision; the freebies are deffo worth having in my book. If it's the clinical eyelift or the Ultimate eye cream your customer has ordered then you have another difficult decision.... they usually appear in HT clearance.Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

i've got a ladies night coming up and want to make the best possible impression to others! the last stall I had wasnt a huge success, so i'm wanting this one to be the best yet!! and why not!!
I've got business cards sorted!! thanks to vistaprint!!) so should be able to spread the word easily!!
I'm in the process of doing posters/leaflets to go on table etc and am thinking of doing a raffle.. but have no idea what prize to do!! any ideas would be brill. all my ordering has to be out of c3/c4.
i've brought laminating sheets for a5 to laminate leaflets with latest offers etc! and also have got some sticky white lables- was thinking of using them to seal the paper bags. and have got 'thankyou for your order/purchase' to put in paper bags. am i missing anything???? x t.i.a x
I offered a 10% discount on all book orders (quite a few of the people, who came to my party last week already have their own Avon ladies but it still tempted a few to take a book :T)
As for the raffle, I put a few freebies in one of the vanity cases I also managed to get free and my party ladies decided to let the winners chose two items so quite a lot won i.e. rather than just one person.
Lipstick samples are also very popular at parties - apparently, they're ideal for taking out at night i.e. fit into the tiny handbags. Buying the new Kiss cards, if not too late for you, might be worth thinking about? Talking of which, it looks like to get a free full size one, our customers need to contact their reps. Has anyone looked into what we're supposed to do yet?
Good luck with your party, CL.Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

what does everyone think about wearing an avon t-shirt that's in the book? or is it not worth it???
Get as many as you can i.e. half a box full of each price point wouldn't go amiss.;)
As for a T-shirt, I got mine from Vistaprint - designed my own so they match my calling cards and postcards.Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)
