I just got an email as well, saying I had been specially selected to pre-order from C16. The rest of the email is about C17, so think that might be a typo.

It says I can order before Thurs 28th July but the delivery won't come until my normal C17 delivery. I'm not sure I understand the reason for ordering early - am I missing something?

Edit - just re-read the email & it's used for market research so they can assess product supply. Not sure I'll be any help as won't be ordering anything until I've got customer orders for it.
    Now proud Mumto3 :j

Any experienced SL's able to answer a quick question for me? Was given a lead by ASM for a girl who used to be a rep (turns out up unitl C8 2011 and we are now on C13) but stopped as she was moving. New address is not in ASM's area so she can't resign her and passed it to me. Went and dit the sign up no problems, but what happens with her account? Will she get a new number or will they just pop the same one and change the address? Any experience of this?
    Thanks in advance!
  • Mumto2 I've never understood why they ask you to order early either?

All Reps Please can people give me an idea of their average sales? My average must be about £200 but I've just sold £260 last campaign and it's spurred me on! I've got the summer holidays now to recanvas and try to get my sales up, but would like a target thinking about how much others sell? Thanks :D

My customer orders are in my sig. And that's just customers, no books or sales aids or demos or things for myself, or stock from the main brochure (which I got last time to add a few things to a summer sale flyer). I tend to return demos once I'm done with them so it's not a permanent expense or really counting towards my award sales anyway.

I've got 600 houses in my territory. 13% of them have ever ordered. About 10 people also get me orders from a friend or family member (not every campaign) - it's not something I've pushed so maybe I should try to incentivise everyone else.

I've got 4 customers from local businesses. 2 got in contact thanks to finding me on the "find a rep" feature. :) My mum, grandmas, and an auntie have ordered but only a few times a year because they don't live nearby. But my mum does a big stock-up when she does order.

I can't really average out the sales because I've had my area increased by a large chunk a couple of times since starting. I got some new houses that I started canvassing in C3/C4/C5, and another lot that I started in C9/C10. The latest lot have been much better - to my surprise. It's mostly a big estate of established detached houses (built in 70s or 80s).
I used to have my Avon turnover (sales) here. They've been removed because it's not appropriate to talk about those kinds of sales as if they're realistic for a new Rep to aim for. :( I signed up at the right time, right place, and was very lucky.
  • Hi everyone, I think I may be being a little dense but my client ordered the Ultimate Total Body Age Repair on P81 in C12, in the top right hand corner it says "choose a free anew 14 day mini kit with every Anew skincare purchase" I didn't get the free gift in my order so contacted Customer services. They are asking for the free gift product number ? I cannot see it anywhere ? can anyone help
    ta very much

I havn't got a book with my right now but I think i you flick back a few pages you will find the codes for all the different mini-kits (30+, 40+ etc) you have to enter this in order for the right one to arrive.

Thanks for the info! I think I have 'opted for leads', I assume if anyone had wanted me as a rep I'd have got an email or phone call?
  • It's a scary thought, but I've just found the link for HT17 and it's all Christmassy

    Hi folks,

I live on a Park Home site and that is where my Avon territory is (for 8 years). I know everyone and my customers are both my neighbours and friends. It was brought to my attention that someone on the site has started Body Shop at Home.

I don't know who it is and feel a little uneasy. I gather BS hold parties in order to sell their products (?). My customers are definitely feeling the pinch money-wise and even though I have no doubt they would be very loyal to me, if this person is also their neighbour and friend they may feel the need to support them as well.

Should I be worried? How does BS compare to Avon. Any thoughts anyone?
