It's been interesting to read what everyone does in regards to deliveries. My customers are in a really good routine with books and deliveries at the moment they know exactly what happens. So I'm a bit apprehensive about making any changes. I think I might have to put a newsletter in saying Weds deliveries will be 6pm onwards and if they are out 2:30pm onwards on the Thursday.
Just had to order an immediate replacement on behalf of a Rep. Does anyone know roughly how long they take to come in the post? From the sounds of things her customer wasn't too happy about waiting for the purse.M May11 55886.810 -

Avon quote 3-5 working days - should arrive mid next week maybe? (I've had to do likewise for some faulty white fitflops but seems size 6/7 are now sold out....)Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

Thank you for both view points on sales leadership I have just joined Avon last 15 July I joined thinking of the future when I am fifty I don't want to be canvassing streets for new customers to make a living so I was tagged as trainee sales leader I know its going to be hard but my up-liner seems greet and I believe she will help me loads as she wants me to earn her money which makes me money so everyones a winner.
I joined with 5 days until order had to be in and so far got £202.30 in orders so next campaign I am hoping it will be better as people don't know me..:rotfl:
Congratulations on making the step towards SL. If you don’t want to be canvassing the streets for new customers in future, how do you feel about door-to-door prospecting to find Reps? Of course there are other ways to find Reps and it seems newspaper advertising works well. Well done on reaching HOV in such a short time too.:)M May11 55886.810 -

I previously 'did' Avon through work and a few local streets but quit when I went on maternity leave with my daughter 18 months ago.
ALong with my daughter I now have a 3 week old son and I am on maternity leave again. I am wondering if any of you have experience of selling avon in circumstances similar to mine. Obviously, I have no work colleagues to sell to but not sure how it would work doing streets with 2 little ones in tow. Advice greatfully received.

Congrats on your two little ones. Would say a lot depends on:
* your area i.e. how built up it is and how easy it would be to get round with a buggy.
* how much support you have at home i.e. will your OH look after the children whilst you do your deliveries. Have no personal experience of your circumstances but would imagine handing out/collecting in the books would be manageable with the little ones in tow but delivering orders could be difficult?
* one development since you last 'did Avon' is that we can now put a virtual book on Face Book, Twitter, You-Tube so if you go on there a lot then maybe you could just sell to F&F and post goods to them?
Hope that helps a little; good luck, whatever you decide.Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

just fallen lucky again due to avon reps dropping out I have taken over another 300 houses to canvass plus my s/l has given me another 180 c12 and 100 c 13 so I can deliver all books at once then pick books up over two evenings.
I am working on cutting house numbers down on the rounds I have then going to do door to door canvassing for reps also standing at shopping centres canvassing and handing out old books with contact details protential customers or reps can then contact me at later date or i will take there details if they want to be rep or customer."It is your decisions, and not your conditions, that determine your destiny".0 -

Hi! I started Avon when my children were 3 years and my baby was 2 months old! SO very similar situations, i didnt find it too bad to be honest but this is the first time i did avon so i have no experience of what its like without children. My orders come and i bag them up with the children, take them out with the children, deliver books with the children etc there always with me. Now i've got in the swing of things its easy, i could do with covering all my area as my sales seem to be stuck at £350-£400 but thats due to my lazyness so i'm hoping this august holiday to try and get my sales too £500. Fingers crossed0 -
Will pick my 1st lot of camp 13 books up this morning - lets see how they like the book this time. Its the street i normally get quite a few orders on so fingers crossed. If not many orders i am unlikely to make targetsMe, DD1 19, DS 17, DD2 14, Debt Free 04/18, Single Mum since 11/19

ok so £63 worth of orders all from my regulars. Only difference is average order is a lot smaller this time round. Hopefully my other roads will make up for it. Anyway with next times catalogues and bits i have made minimum order value so cant complain. Hope everyone has s good dayMe, DD1 19, DS 17, DD2 14, Debt Free 04/18, Single Mum since 11/19
