Hi i have finally go tmy facebook back up and running, and am trying to put avon book on there so people can order from it. I am about to deliver camp 13 but brochure on facebook is set to camp 12. Is there any way that i can change it to camp 13 on facebook? Thanks

Am not that au fait with FB but Avon is only offering the C12 brochure to share at the mo - there should be a link to C13 on the first page of this thread. Maybe you could copy from there but really don't know. Of course, you can still back-order from C12 (sorry if that's 'teaching Granny to suck eggs').

Wow most brochures in now (only some out with people that have never actually ordered yet), and have had my lowest orders to date.

Ive gained 3 new customers but lost two this time around.

Campaign 12 has been a let down.

Oh dear, the SSS Dry Oil Spray @ £1.50 is such a bargain (Soft & Fresh version is the anti-insect one) - as is the Planet Spa Dead Sea Minerals range @ 2 for £6 (really good for anyone with eczema or psoriasis). If you need to bump up your order then they're good items to stock up on.

Improved Avon routine by accident - last week I re-did my weekly planners (a plan for each week of an Avon campaign, plus non-Avon things mixed in). Then delivery day arrives and I'm not feeling too good so I want to prioritise getting the deliveries done. I've always found putting the books in with orders a bit of a faff - not all the bags are big enough, plus I've got other books to be delivered (with no orders) - so I keep the books in a separate bag. I'll do a delivery at number 10, drop books to 11, 14, 20, then a delivery at 26, and so on... I don't like multi-tasking and it was a bit stressful. So this week I did the deliveries, explained to everyone that their next book would be dropped off the next day, and did the books while out doing deliveries to a couple of local businesses during the day. This local business delivery is always a part of my schedule so I have to be out anyway. In the evening I've got another round of deliveries to do, but that's not as bad for juggling books/orders.

Confused customers - I had one person the other day saying she thought I was coming back for the book a second time, and said I'd put it on the note that I was. Even though I make my own notes I'm suddenly thinking, "did I?" and thinking it looks really bad. The note definitely said you need to ring or e-mail with an order. Then yesterday someone said they thought I was delivering on Monday, and again I'm thinking, "did I not change the day when I copied and pasted the e-mail text?" Just checked my sent folder and I had them down for the right day. On Monday as well someone said they thought it was Tuesday. My husband was with me for most of these and as we're walking away he says, "That's not like you... " Oh and last week someone left their book out a week early (despite the date being on the front) so when I turn up on the right day to collect they say they left it out and I didn't show up (even though at that point I'd have been checking the note with the date on...). It's frustrating because I think of reliability and organisation as being my "thing" (more than being "bubbly" and extra chatty at the door), that means customers can trust me and be happy to carry on ordering.
I used to have my Avon turnover (sales) here. They've been removed because it's not appropriate to talk about those kinds of sales as if they're realistic for a new Rep to aim for. :( I signed up at the right time, right place, and was very lucky.

    My avon tips!

I started Avon in march this year. Got given 200 houses and it use to take me ages and i'd get frustrated that sometimes only 1 person would order down a street etc. I then decided to write little notes saying "if you dont want future brochures please write your house number here" it worked a tret and now i deliver to 30 houses and they all order! or at least 9/10 order it means i can get my books out in a hour! and it also means i can buy less books!

    Other tips i recommend are:

take children with you - my ds earned £8 from 3 houses and they all love to coo over my 6 month old :)

try to stick to the same days - all my books go out monday and get collected thurs - i deliver some orders sat (i spend a hour) then i do the rest on monday with any books, pick these up thrus and thats me done for another camp!

Always give your customer more time - my customer asked for longer once and it turns out she was taking the book to work - fab! she now gets 2 books and emails me her order :)

I personally wouldnt recommend becoming a SL! It costs too much!

First you have to drive some where to stop ppl and ask if they want to be a rep, then you have to do door knocking, if ppl say yes you have to book them in to sign them up (takes hr) then you need to do a follow up appointment (another hour) you have to supply them with books etc. It costs you £25 to be a SL then you have to spend alot of time getting reps and giving them books etc, then theres petrol costs...it costs a fortune! You then need to have 5 reps getting atleast £888 in sales and your order must be over £148 to qualify for comission which is about 2%. If a rep doesnt his her MOV then you dont get anything..or if a rep decideds she doesnt want to do it anymore (alot do to be fair) then you go down to 4 you wont get a penny. If you have plenty of time and dont mind being out of pocket for a few months and manage to get at least 20 reps then yeh it might be worth it for you but you will need to keep recruiting reps every month to count for any reps that drop out.

You can be a SL straight away, i joined in march and was a SL in may...got 6 reps its now july and i have 1 rep left and i spent ages getting the 6 i have...1 rep dropped out b4 order was due & one rep didnt hit her MOV so i got no commission! :/

On the subject of kids I often have customers kids come to the door when I deliver the products. There's a toddler who always holds his hands out expectantly. Does anyone take anything round for the kids? I was thinking of a few sweets, but I don't want to give them anything that might upset their mums!

Also I was wondering, does everyone deliver their items on delivery day? From Sept I'm going to be working part time and won't get home until just before 3pm. By the time I have had some lunch ect and bagged all the products up it will be getting late in the day.

I usually make two trips to deliver products one in the afternoon and one around 7:30pm. I am wondering if it would be a good idea to put my delivery day a day later ,so I can start delivering ASAP after work. Last time I didn't get round to all my customers in the day time as I ran out of change and thought I would do the rest in the evening. So I went round in the evening on delivery day and one customer moaned and said they had been waiting in. Which I thought was rather strange as she usually takes her children out and is either just leaving or just returning when I show up. Needless to say she hasn't ordered this timeL. I also have another customer who goes out around 3pm every day.

No but I do have some customers whose kids raid the bags for the samples - I had some of the lipstick samples on the cards and Avon sent me them in the darkest colour, which led to lots of little girls wearing VERY dark lipstick!! :rotfl:

I never tell customers when I'm delivering in case I can't make that day I only ever put 'deliveries week commencing ...'

Just do it to suit you; that's the beauty of Avon.... it fits around your lifestyle.

Personally, I always deliver the day after I receive my goods from Avon - gives me all day then to get sorted and I can do my deliveries the following day not frazzled by being on my knees for hours!

As already said by others, routine is the key; easier for everyone.
