This is my very first post,I hope the matter taken care
of in the coming days we are able to access it nicely.0 -
Carboots - there's a rep on Connects who does regular car boots. She said it was a gradual process of working out what sells - so a bit like Avon in general it's something you have to build and build on rather than dip in and out of. You might get lucky doing the odd one every few months, but to make a real go of it you'd have to put in the time and research. Some carboots seem to be more junk, whereas some have small traders selling better quality things. They have a different clientele.I used to have my Avon turnover (sales) here. They've been removed because it's not appropriate to talk about those kinds of sales as if they're realistic for a new Rep to aim for.
I signed up at the right time, right place, and was very lucky.

I just got an email as well, saying I had been specially selected to pre-order from C16. The rest of the email is about C17, so think that might be a typo.
It says I can order before Thurs 28th July but the delivery won't come until my normal C17 delivery. I'm not sure I understand the reason for ordering early - am I missing something?
Edit - just re-read the email & it's used for market research so they can assess product supply. Not sure I'll be any help as won't be ordering anything until I've got customer orders for it.
Hi, yes it's for Avon's benefit really. Can also have a downside to reps because it's added to your stored order but doesn't appear when you input your own order so if you fancy certain goods you can end up with double the quantity. Happened to me twice now - doh!Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

Was given a lead by ASM for a girl who used to be a rep (turns out up unitl C8 2011 and we are now on C13) but stopped as she was moving. New address is not in ASM's area so she can't resign her and passed it to me. Went and dit the sign up no problems, but what happens with her account? Will she get a new number or will they just pop the same one and change the address? Any experience of this?
Thanks in advance!
Reps are 'tagged' to their original upliner for approx 6 months after they become inactive (need to miss 8 clear campaigns/essentially 9) so you may find that she is still tagged to her previous team. Ring your SL Helpline to discuss - they won't discuss her previous a/c with you so a good idea to ring when you're both together so she can talk to them too.
As/when she is 'free' to join your team, she will be allocated a new account no. (This is actually issued when you do her initial sign-up but it's allocated before Avon have done a full credit check i.e. if they deem it necessary, so you should've given your newbie her new a/c no. when you signed her up....... What message did you get when you pressed 'Submit' to appoint her?)
Even though she's moved, you will have had to input her previous address when you signed her up so Avon should connect your new rep with her previous a/c. Would be interesting if your experience is different though. Please post how you get on.... information is power and all that.
Incidentally, any activity under her old a/c no. will keep her connected to her previous SL/ASM so if she does use that a/c no. she will not show on your team.
Hope that helps.

No, not necessarily; it's up to you to check 'Customers' on your website. I took a break in the Spring and was surprised to find some new customers registered going back to January. (Wasn't even aware there was this facility until the website change in May....) So far have only managed to make contact with one; the others just don't answer - presumably they forgot about enquiring so long ago.
PS: SL's do get an email from Avon when a potential rep registers as a lead but quite often potential reps follow the wrong link and request to join your 'Community' rather than your 'Team' so always a good idea to check both.Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

What would be best to take? Skin so soft? Shower gels/shampoos?
I'm a bit lost as to how much to order and of what!
Any help would be really appreciated!!Or a point in the right direction if this has already been discussed?
Only ever done one car boot sale and the weather was atrocious so not many people turned up.Not much experience, therefore, but would suggest shower gels, liquid soaps, bubble baths - offer below brochure price even if only 5/10p - and any other bargains available to you at the time.
Good luck; let us know how you get on please.Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)
