I've just started offering gift bags to people on my round, but it's still very much coming under the umbrella of my Independent Sales Rep title. To be honest I didn't think to ask Avon legal about it. It's not like I'm creating a new brand just for the gift bags. I noticed there was a bit of a gap, even at Christmas time, for gift bags so I've done different ones for different occasions, plus a general pamper kit. If anyone orders one I'll just add the relevant items to my order and deliver it on delivery day. Each gift bag is solely Avon products apart from the bag, ribbon and tag.I used to have my Avon turnover (sales) here. They've been removed because it's not appropriate to talk about those kinds of sales as if they're realistic for a new Rep to aim for.
I signed up at the right time, right place, and was very lucky.

put it this way - about avon selling online.. the woman who was 4th highest selling rep last year in the country sells on ebay... with over 22,000 positive feedback.. so therefore imagine how many transactions she does online!! As they say they cant actually stop you as youre self employed0

Hi just looking for some views on this situation. I have been doing Avon for some time and I have started a new buisness. Along side it I wanted to make up some gift sets to sell online and thought I would include some Avon products in them. I emailed Avon to ask if I was able to do so and got this reply:
Dear Miss Hickey
Thank you for your recent email.
We would prefer our Represntatives to sell through our traditional selling channels e.g. door to door or to family and friends.! However, due to the self-employed status of a Representative, we are unable to direct you as to how to conduct their business.
We appreciate that the activities of these Representatives may be upsetting to other Representatives in their locality, but legally we cannot prevent them selling this way.!
We apologise for not being able to assist you further in this matter.
Should you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

This is the problem with their standard automated email responses to things - each one is a total catch-all and makes no sense in a specific context! I have started taking them to task on this - emailed yesterday to complain about the atrocious print quality on nearly all my C9 books and requesting a full credit as they were so far below standard - got back a standard response saying that I couldn;t return books for credit (hadn't asked to) but that they would apply a £5 credit (well that's half of what I was looking for anyway!). I've replied again today asking for a response written by a human being rather than a computer, and for my specific concerns and questions to be dealt with an answered. No response as yet - we'll see what Monday brings!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Hun, was your order already saved and it charged you when you submitted or did you only start to add your order after the deadline??
Also I have had an email from Avon saying I need to get written confirmation about one my new reps as she isn't on the electoral role for the address given, does this mean I need to see written evidence and email Avon to confirm or that they need to see the written evidence?? It really isn't clear.

Just input my first two orders on the new website. I love the way it lets you input each customer individually. I have just set them up with their name and my phone number, at least now if I misplace my folder with the orderes in I still know who has ordered what ! lol
I also like the way it tells you how much more you have to order to reach MOV and HOV.
You cannot view the previous HT like you used to be able to anymore although you can still order from it.
Hey ho, really pleased last night though as my mate ordered £64 worth of stuff !! I think she deserves some freebies lol as her last order was £56 ! :j have a good weekend everyone0 -
E-mail responses - I remember a rep on Connects had e-mailed them about TJ Hughes selling Avon and they said it was fine. It was the standard "each rep is self-employed" response. The things is at the same point head office were investigating - it clearly wasn't fine. The standard of response is awful. You'd expect a small percentage of responses to be unsatisfactory in such a big organisation, but it seems nearly all of them are. They sorted out a problem with credits not saving and a re-charge, but if you ask anything more complicated you get a nonsense reply. I gave up with my Clearskin demo pack in the end:
Response 1 - will be delivered in 5-7 days - not true
Response 2 - will be delivered with next order - not true
Response 3 - can't be delivered because products not available to order anymore - not true
Response 4 - okay then they can be delivered. When they showed up they were charged full price and part of the pack was missing.I used to have my Avon turnover (sales) here. i think you can view the last one, there's a drop down menu on the ht page with campaign number on it x

Have updated the link for brochure 10, looks like avon changed the url, took a bit of searching on connects but have found itAvon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0
