I just posted the brochure 10 link on Facebook and the link was ok. When the links have sorted themselves out I'll redo them, no point if they're just keeping changing the URL.
Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A

If they don't reply within 48 working hours like they should (not Inc weekends) forward the same email again. If still no reply, forward it again but also copy in their boss. If you aren't a member already, I recommend joining flissys, it's great for getting help with problems like this, as someone always knows who the asms boss is. If the asms learn that you won't let things go, then they reply straight away. And if they also realise you won't work in their area otherwise, then they'll be keen to help - a bit of subtle blackmail goes a long way. We shouldn't have to do these things, but with some managers unfortunately it's required. Don't be afraid to complain about them not doing their job, they're paid to do a job so they should do it right!

    Just wanted to say hi!

Been away for what seems like aeons but now have my internet connection back (and can actually see light at the the bottom of my pile of paperwork) so looking forward to catching up with what peeps on my favourite thread have been up to.

Hope everyone's well and 'enjoying' Avon.

Hi just looking for some views on this situation. I have been doing Avon for some time and I have started a new buisness. Along side it I wanted to make up some gift sets to sell online and thought I would include some Avon products in them. I emailed Avon to ask if I was able to do so and got this reply:

    Dear Miss Hickey

Thank you for your recent email.

We would prefer our Represntatives to sell through our traditional selling channels e.g. door to door or to family and friends.! However, due to the self-employed status of a Representative, we are unable to direct you as to how to conduct their business.

We appreciate that the activities of these Representatives may be upsetting to other Representatives in their locality, but legally we cannot prevent them selling this way.!

We apologise for not being able to assist you further in this matter.

Should you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

    Regards

    Avon!Sales Service Centre

so do we think that means I can or I can't

    Thanks

    Interesting, thanks!

See your query has already been answered but it's good to see your reply from Avon.

Have you tried ringing the 'poaching' rep yourself? ASMs hate it when we 'talk' to each other rather than ask them to resolve any probs but..... if they won't answer your emails then deffo a route I'd take.

Be diplomatic, but fair; it may be that the 'poaching' rep is new and doesn't know she's causing a prob.

Also a warning: the pink laptop bag has very bad reviews on AvonConnects. My sister ordered it and it is just about 'worth' the £10 but no more, it is flimsy and arrives very flattened and has never looked like the one in the brochure! It is more likely your customer will send the bag back than the extra products IMO :D

Is that the Antler one? If so, yes, I agree it's not as substantial as you would expect from Antler but, having said that, I  mine. It's great for handing out books because of the top magnetic flap. Could do with being a bit wider but the prepped books fit fine if you pack them flat and, somehow, they don't seem as heavy in this bag..... Maybe it's because the design of it means you naturally carry some of the weight on your body as opposed to it all hanging from your shoulder. Don't know really, just guessing.

Sorry, annie-c, realise if you're not a rep, that will be of diddly-squat interest to you but wanted to mention it for the reps that subscribe to this thread.

Incidentally, guys, it's worth keeping an eye out for offers to online retail customers as - I kid you not - sometimes the online offers to retail customers are better than those made to reps - especially if you order via a cashback site such as Quidco! Can also be useful too in certain circumstances rather than placing an additional order. ;)

Thanks. So really my credit limit is 242. I really struggled to get any answers from the man this morning.

Probably because he couldn't work it out for himself! LOL

Having said that if your order includes some designer stuff then it won't exactly work out to £242 nett so guess that's why he kept to his 'customer order limit'.
