missminx - yeh they've changed the way credits appear in the list of orders so it does look like submitted an order but really its the credit.0

Hi, I'm sure this is probably a self-evident question, but here goes!
If someone orders the Antler Bag for £10 plus the qualifying products, but then returns some or all of the make up, would they have to pay the usual price of £30 for the bag?
A customer wants the bag and wants to try some of the make up for the first time and is asking if she returns any products within the 90 days will she be charged full price for the bag.
Thanks, Ness.
I am not a rep, but an online customer. Previously I have purchased items at a reduced price with qualifying products and have had to return one of the qualifying items. No problem at all.
To be honest I think the offers are just a marketing ploy to get customers to buy more and Avon would have more trouble than it's worth to try to charge extra after the event.
Also a warning: the pink laptop bag has very bad reviews on AvonConnects. My sister ordered it and it is just about 'worth' the £10 but no more, it is flimsy and arrives very flattened and has never looked like the one in the brochure! It is more likely your customer will send the bag back than the extra products IMO0 -

That is ridiculous. I am not liking the new site either. They also send you what appears to be a confirmation email for your order when you do a credit now. No mention on the email of credits. Scared me to death, thinking that my order had somehow been submitted.
You should phone them and complain about that as they haven't advised that this will be happening. It may even be a glitch that they aren't aware of yet.
ETA: You should tell them that it was struggling with their wonderful new website that caused your submission to be late in the first place!Still looking for the plot...... Anyone seen it???0 -
Everyone - make sure you start entering your orders as soon as you can for the next few weeks - and make sure you submit in plenty of time - as otherwise the system won't let you submit it as a regular order if its past the 10pm deadline, but only as an additional order.
WHich is a pain in the b*m- we've always had a bit of lee-way, which was great for when reps had internet problems, just a bit submitting due to whatever reason - but no, we can't anymore. Apparently theres problem with the site at the moment (I've got on alright) - but if you're due to submit your order in the next few days I'd submit it early if you can just to be on the safe side.
Hopefully once they've sorted the problems out, then it'll go back to how it was, as it's going to make things so much more difficult for everyone!
But yes - if you get charged £2.50 delivery just cos you can't get on the site, but a complaint in saying it was due to the website technical difficulties that caused you to be late, so demand that you are refunded the £2.50 delivery charge. I imagine avon will refund it to everyone (if they complain!) as it quite clearly is there fault, and otherwise this new website is going to cause a lot of people to leave just due to little things like this making things that much more difficult.Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0 -
On the plus side, the bit where you click on the magnifying glass to get the product description is a lot quicker on the new website. The old website kept crashing at that stage.
But my bloomin' returns form took an absolute age to write out by hand. And not liking the fact that you have to hunt for the internet only offers. Oh, and the HT is too small to read, so thanks to Lozza for posting the links on the front page of this thread!0 -
Ive been reliably informed that the problems are fixed, so hopefully everyone should be able to submit their orders ok now. But I think it's still charging £2.50 if you submit after 10pm, but I'd argue that one, but best to submit before 10pm in case.Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0

Wonder if they have fixed the glitch that caused £106 worth of credits to dissapear into cyber space. the credits gave off my balance prior to order being submitted but dissappeared never to be seen again. They don't even appear on my invoice. Spoke to Avon and they cannot explain. Had to go through the whole lot and try to figure out what I had asked for then print off return form . All boxed up and sent back but think thiw will be something which will come back to bite me on the bum!!!I have never met a calorie yet I didn't like!!0
