I'm getting a bit worried about my order delivery. It's being delivered to my OH's work so I really need it to be delivered before 5 and I didn't actually think what I was going to do if it was delivered later. Is there anyone I can call to see if it will be or will I just have to sit by his work all night?

my deliveries so far have both come during the day - one early at about 8am and the other at about 2pm.... so should be during daytime hours I would have thought... :)

    :mad:ARRGGGHHHHHH!!!!

Just found out today that someone has trespassed into my streets! To top it off, my ASM resigned on Monday (yup, yesterday!) and I don't know where to go to try and rectify this...... so my plan is....

    • Print off some slips and put them through my streets, to reassure customers that I am still their rep
    • Contact AVON direct to see who is my upliner
    • Seethe quietly
    • Place my order as normal
This is the first time that it's happened to me which is quite surprising I suppose as I have been doing it for over a year now but means I got to spend time leafletting customers.

I went out to deliver some slips to customers and to give my fav customers a box of chocs to say thank you for alerting me to the fact that someone had been putting books out on my streets and she came out with a phone number for her! Woo hoo RESULT!

Finally plucked up the courage to phone her and she was really nice, it was her first campaign and she had been given my streets! I blamed the AVON system but not 100% sure. She said that the ASM signed her up the day before she resigned. She will have no 2nd visit or support, so offered to help her out!

Seriously thinking about becoming a SL but with no uplliner....... I'm stuffed! :-)

You will get a new asm in time - it could turn out to a be a good thing, my old asm was rubbish but my new one is brilliant. I became a sl under my old asm so had no help, but I'm stubborn and determined so made it work. With my new asm it had made things much easier admittedly.

Send her our way well help her! X

Might not show with you not being charged till 2 camps later. If it's showing on your order then it'll be fine x

I seem to do quite well with the Anew range of make-up and their anti-ageing cream range however, I do want to push this more this year. Make-up is also a good seller, mainly mascara, eye liners, lipsticks and nail varnish. One customer seems to buy a new nail varnish colour each campaign, I have no idea what she does with it all :p

The skin so soft range seems to sell well for me, I tend to have more requests for this than the Senses range for some reason. I have a few regulars who buy fragrance and body sprays from me however, I'm currently testing the water on an idea from my SL 'Try before you buy' to encourage more people to buy fragrance so I'll let you know how that goes.

I also sell quite a bit of kids stuff, a few items for men; mainly shower gels, deodorant and occasionally get requests for underwear and jewellery although since I've been wearing a few bits myself (jewellery that is) I'm hoping it will attract some more interest.

And finally....welcome to the world of Avon... your bathroom and home will soon be full of it :D

My dd has started avon, not only am I driving her to area, helping her, receiving phone calls on my phone because she is worried about calls(then as a result going to get order forms or books back).Reassuring customers that yes she is the official avon lady when they phone(there is a rogue canvasssing "our" area the sl had to ring her re areas),I am also her best customer!
On the plus side I think it is helping build her confidence, people skills and money handling/management(she is a student).
I have met some very nice people and apart from trying to fit it in my already busy schedule/work/housework/allotment and occaisional social life could do it myself.how would I work out what expenses I could claim in tax and I do let her/our clients know if it is cheaper/on special offer/or has a freebie if they miss it so am afraid would worry about tax, won`t be a great profit maker am afraid to say!would rather lose a few pence then let the client group down.
another plus is the added walking-surely I will lose a little more weight!

Hi everyone, not had time to come on here for a while.
Anyone got ideas for boosting orders? Alot of customers have moved over the past 5 months and due to family etc havent had time to fully concentrate on avon. Am now back into it and have been re-canvasing and will be out with more books today! Also trying to build up my team again as that dropped down aswell. Hoping for a better year this year but any tips would be great.
    thanx suzy
