Have just queried my returns and Avon say they have no record of them :eek: Over £100 in returns and I can't find my copy of it.... :mad:
I have a record of what I sent back as had written it out on paper first, but not the proper copy. Is there anything I can do??? I think I am going to consider paying the postage from now on and sending royal mail as it feels safer. I am so worried, I can't afford to lose this
do you have the barcode? you just need to give the the last 4 digits. I know they ask you to scan and email it but if you haven't got a scanner you would have to post to them.
They told me they did not have a record of me returning high value stuff either and have asked for proof I returned it. Problem is with my disorganised filing system I am not sure where it is!
If you have your sheet of returns, you should be able to work out the barcode that you sent back. Also contact the courier company and ask them if they have the details, as they have to sign to say they took them away. I am sure they scan the barcode or keep details.
Don't start paying RM to return goods! Just make sure you keep the barcode details safe for future returns.0 -
Just been to put books out on my territory to my current customers and one of the older ladies called me in. She wanted to ask whether her daughters order had been lost or something. Turns out, the other week when I was delivering and was told by a child at that address that they didn't want the order or any more books, it was actually not the womans child but the child of her partners and the little b$*ch was causing trouble (which is a regular occurance according to the lady I spoke to today!). Apparently the lady DID want the order, and DID want to continue getting books :mad: Normally I would only talk to the adult, unless I can hear the adult speaking (or I know the kid - working in the local school has its advantages
) but this house had a porch & front door, and the kid went in shutting the inner front door behind her and then came out telling me they didn't want it. I will now only deal with the adults at that house, or the mum who I spoke to today
On a better note, I think, I've put all my current customers onto the latest book (C9 for me) and I'm using C8 to canvass the next road along. Had to use the royal mail address finder to work out the addresses as they seem to jump around everywhere around here, this next road jumps from about 11 to 27 to 51+Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -

You might be able to work out what the code is by process of elimination. If you look at the torn-out barcode slips on the back of the invoices and see which ones are missing, then look at the barcode numbers of the returns that did go through properly you should be able to work out which code was on the box they're re-charging.
I've just looked at some barcode labels on the back of an invoice of mine. They go 0471, 0472, 0473. Say I'd done 3 sets of returns and used those 3, but only had returns forms for 2 of them. The returns forms would have the codes on, so the code that's left is the one on the re-charged box.
This doesn't really help if they ask for further proof (although I've had re-charges re-credited with just a code), but hopefully the courier will be able to confirm things if you have a code.I used to have my Avon turnover (sales) here. I've just sorted my avon order and I have 6 things missing and they are not on the sheet. I know i put the orders on the computer because i mark the order forms when they are on however maybe they didnt save when I did it. What should i do?Sealed pot challenge 18750

Yay, I finally got up to date with the new 2011 forum, been sifting through until i got here!!
Only joined Avon last week so im a total newbie!!
I'm sure i will have LOADS of questions, Some of them have already been answered just by flicking through the forums!!
Hope you are all doing well, I have only just hit my lower order value but i started late in the campaign but at least im getting somewhere hey!!
