Oh well, at least if people aren't using the form at all you've got an excuse to go back. You'll get a certain number of people using it the second time around when they realise you're not going away just because they haven't ordered. Plus if people haven't used it I knock on doors when collecting to ask (even if I've already got the book back) and knock before dropping them another one. If after all that I still can't get a straight answer I just carry on as long as they're reliable, take note of whether they're reading the book, and drop them after a certain length of time. For me, if people aren't reading the book they see every other book for 3 campaigns. If they're reading it they see it indefinitely as long as they're reliable. Well, I say indefinitely, but I think a year of reading the book with no orders would try my patience! :D

If you're introducing a so-many-strikes rule (especially different ones for different groups) a table in Excel makes it really easy to keep organised. My system probably sounds needlessly complicated but it's all down in a spreadsheet and every campaign I just look at that so see who is/isn't getting a book this time and whether it's their last one.
I used to have my Avon turnover (sales) here. They've been removed because it's not appropriate to talk about those kinds of sales as if they're realistic for a new Rep to aim for. :( I signed up at the right time, right place, and was very lucky.

AVG86 - yep all sales from the clearance brochure count towards your award sales (reaching £78/£148 and getting into PC) and you'll get a discount on them as well. If we didn't earn a discount none of us would hand them out. ;)

Even though you don't earn a discount on HT products, they do help you to reach your £78/£148 target. Brochures count as well.

I have had to do some returns this camp. However, I forgot to print out the returns form (doh) does anyone know how I can access them?

Hi MrsGSR, if you select My Orders, then click on Order Tracking in your account, you should see it on there - just click where it says Returns Form and you can print it from there.

Yep - just be careful that's it not something out of HT clearance as if it's out of stock they usually don't count it, whereas if it's a new demo item it'll count x
Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A

Hi all, just made HOV again this month! :D new customer with a £52 order.... very pleased.... hoping to get the last of the deliveries gone tomorrow and wednesday! but so frustrating - I knew one lady couldn't pay til wednesday and that is fine with me as long as they are honest about when they can pay!

But I am going to be bad and order a couple of things myself this time too, need to get the kids some more bubble bath at least!

The demo will take you over the limit yes - as will anything you order from the main brochure (for the same reasons Lozza said don't rely on the clearance booklets that come with some campaigns either). Sometimes they're sneaky and make the demo products in HT (particularly items that aren't brand-new) the same price or more expensive than if you bought it from the brochure and got 20% or 25% off. The demo prices of brand-new items are usually just over 25% off the brochure price.

So there could be a demo item that's £3.50 from HT. In 2 campaigns when it appears in the brochure it's £5, but will only cost you £4 if you hit MOV or £3.75 if you hit HOV - BUT the full £5 counts towards your award sales, helping you reach MOV, HOV and getting into PC.

Then there are other demo items that are, say, £5 in HT. But if you look in the brochures you'll notice it's selling for £6 - so once you've taken a 20% or 25% discount into account it costs you less than £5.

Oh and if the things you order are faulty or you're just not happy with them you can return them and if that takes you back under £78 don't worry. Same goes for if a customer returns something and you're back under £78.

I'm getting a bit worried about my order delivery. It's being delivered to my OH's work so I really need it to be delivered before 5 and I didn't actually think what I was going to do if it was delivered later. Is there anyone I can call to see if it will be or will I just have to sit by his work all night?
