my ASM just added me on facebook!!! this could be interesting....lol

and id like to see her or avon enforce me canvassing my whole territory every campaign... i have approximately 15 roads allocated to me..... some with 100+ houses - probably in the region of 1000 houses....... there is not a CHANCE of me covering them every campaign UNLESS i had fulltime childcare for LO and worked 9-5 monday to friday delivering and collecting books........ id prefer they took my territory off me and let me keep my 95 regulars on as F&F if thats the case.

Am due a MASSIVE recanvass though.... made harder by the new backordering rules Cos usually i would just order an extra 100 books and use 100 current book, approx 100 the previous book and approx 100 previous previous books......so gonna have to buy lots extra instead

PLUS someone from my area just canvassed one my main roads with a business card saying add her on facebook or call her to see a book!!!!! I found her on facebook... but i dont have the nerve to argue at the min... just hoping i keep my regulars too be honest!! all i can cope with at the min with my uni and health problems and no childcare for a terrible 2 year old!! :eek:

not sure when they started it, but when you have been with Avon for a year, they give you a free Service Anniversary gift - nothing special, just something from their excess stock. Then Maybe at 2 years? but you have to have been putting orders in.

E-mail Customer service and tell them you have never received anything, they may send you something.

I prefer the white and black one, I think it is easier on the eye..

J - keep an eye on her friends list for any of your customers - if they add her then send them a message and get them to add you instead: people are usually fiercely loyal to their rep, so if they speak to any of their neighbours they probably say o don't speak to that other rep she's horrible. I had someone deliver leaflets to part of my territory asking if the needed a rep, far as I know noone has started using her, my customers threw it straight in the bin, told them to save it next time so I can pass it to the asm.

Leaflets from another rep - fortunately I've discovered doing Avon that people are lazy and won't take the first step to get in touch. Hopefully you won't have anything to worry about.

This links in with the question I asked of Avon HQ, which still hasn't been answered, about canvassing homes outside allocated streets. There needs to be some clear guidelines out there. Personally I see leafleting as canvassing, but other reps might not and not see it as breaking the rules of territory, or messing up the allocated rep's round.

I should have asked my ASM yesterday but was distracted by being a little surprised that I'd actually got the streets I asked for. I was wondering whether my sales were meaning I couldn't get any more, but they're all free so they may as well give them to someone who wants them. Over-saturation isn't a problem here at all. I'm surprised because if there's 10 streets out there I always thought Avon would prefer to have 10 reps covering 1 street each, rather than 1 rep covering all 10. Nevermind, about 100 extra houses to do and lots of books to order! Going to blitz them in 1 campaign :eek:
