Ooh...what are they like nb? Did you go for any extras on them like shiny finish or putting something on the reverse? I have had 2 sorts printed so far for when I was a rep, but wanting a new set now I am SL.
Thanks for the feedback ladies :T. I am trying to find something that I can use as a standard on everything I do so wanted something a bit eyecatching. Intending to do a website eventually too.Everyone loves a bargain :beer:0 -
Hi Guys,
Already have 3 confirmed orders totals awaited but at least thats a start a customer a day keeps the bank manager at bay!!!
I was just wondering what everyones main seller was as in the bread and butter.
Is there a list of the top seller products anywhere ?

it depends really on your customers & your area.
My main sellers are naturals range (all of them, shower gels, sprays, shampoos), advance techniques, hand creams, make-up (especially eyeliners), and body sprays I suppose are fairly popular with my customers.
I sell very little mens products, kids products, anew, and not a huge amount of perfumes (certainly none over £8).
But others might sell lots of them! In general though - the good value everyday items are great, they run out within a few weeks (unlike make-up) so then they need to re-orderAvon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0 -

I like them - I think because they're quite plain they're quite eye catching.
When I ordered it was my first go at ordering anything like this so I went for zero extras, just the basics as I didn't want to spend money in case I either didn't like the cards or decided Avon was a waste of my efforts.0 -

My biggest seller seems to be the bubblebath/senses showergel, make-up (currently split between colortrend & bronzing stuff) and kids detangling spray - then again I live in an area where there are lots of kids and what I call "wannabes" (those who won't go over the step without putting make-up on with a trowel, hair in huge curlers and they're PJ's/mock UGGS on!)I also have a few customers who like the Anew range.
Having said that I'm only covering 4 roads of my territory and will be expanding out another road on C9 so it may change yet.Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -

Bubblebath, liquid soap and shower gel usually feature in my orders. I have a couple of customers who order Anew products but never the whole range. Mascara seems to be quite popular and lipstick.
I have one male customer but other than him I don't sell a lot of mens stuff.0 -

I seem to do quite well with the Anew range of make-up and their anti-ageing cream range however, I do want to push this more this year. Make-up is also a good seller, mainly mascara, eye liners, lipsticks and nail varnish. One customer seems to buy a new nail varnish colour each campaign, I have no idea what she does with it all
The skin so soft range seems to sell well for me, I tend to have more requests for this than the Senses range for some reason. I have a few regulars who buy fragrance and body sprays from me however, I'm currently testing the water on an idea from my SL 'Try before you buy' to encourage more people to buy fragrance so I'll let you know how that goes.
I also sell quite a bit of kids stuff, a few items for men; mainly shower gels, deodorant and occasionally get requests for underwear and jewellery although since I've been wearing a few bits myself (jewellery that is) I'm hoping it will attract some more interest.
And finally....welcome to the world of Avon... your bathroom and home will soon be full of it0 -
Thanks guys its great to get some insight.
Just managed to pick up an enquiry from a friend of a friend on Facebook.
They are interested in the £10 Star Buy from Camp 8 Which is great news!Joined Avon : 13/04/2011 C8 £168.98 C9 £270.99 C10 £237.65 C11 £227.27 C12 £299.97 C13 £298.50 C14 £308.14 C15 £347 C16 349.09 so Far0 -
Hi all! submitted my order last night after a bit of a mad rush just before 10pm lol! Had two last minute orders to put through but worth it as one was for £20 ish and another for £38!!
my best sellers so far have actually been body sprays and perfumes mostly - the £38 order is all body spray and perfume/aftershave....
total orders about £207 but does include about £10/£12 of things for me and my sis
I was offering a free body spray with orders over £15 and I think it has helped a little to boost my orders but still not as much in orders as c6.
But am pleased have gotten over HOV for first two campaigns so am encouraged to keep going. :T
Oooh and I ordered some "free" business cards from Vistaprint and also set up an email account for Avon customers only.BSC #215/No.1 Jan 09 Club0
