I hope it is ok to ask a question here, if not apologies. I am interested in trying one of the trial sets advertised on the TV. But when I went onto the Avon shop online I can't work out which skin type each one is for .. can anyone help ?
thanks in advance0 -
Anew packs - these are grouped into age-ranges (30s, 40s, 50s and 60s), but pick the one that best describes what your skin is like even if it's for a different decade. I've got a customer in her 50s who uses the 40s range, for example, and my mum will carry on with the 40s one even though she won't be for much longer.
30s - Rejuvenate - blue packaging
- no or very few lines
- very firm and resilient
- slightly uneven skin tone in places
- skin texture mostly smooth and even
- eye area has fine lines and some puffiness
40s - Reversalist - red packaging
- wrinkles and some expression lines
- beginning to lose firmness
- discoloured and blotchy
- occasionally dry and flaky
- eye area has dark circles, fine lines and wrinkles
50s - Ultimate - gold packaging
- wrinkles and deep expression lines
- sagging
- even skin tone with some dark age spots
- skin texture uneven, rough and dry
- eye area has deep wrinkles and under-eye bags
60s - Platinum - purple packaging
- deep wrinkles and creases
- sagging with loss of youthful contours
- dull with age spots
- skin texture excessively dry and thinning in places
- eye area has deep creasesI used to have my Avon turnover (sales) here. They've been removed because it's not appropriate to talk about those kinds of sales as if they're realistic for a new Rep to aim for.I signed up at the right time, right place, and was very lucky.

Have a look on Connects and see if there is a rep near you. that way you won't have to pay postage on your ordersStill looking for the plot...... Anyone seen it???0 -
Got a problem with a customer.
She doesn't seem to like giving me books back! She has had the book over a week and said she would return it to me (which to be fair she has before which is why I didn't mind leaving it for her) and clearly hasn't. The mad thing is she USED TO BE A REP!! surely she knows how annoying it is not having the books back. I'm going to go round there tomorrow, have had a bug so haven't been able to get out round there before now. How should I handle it? what shall I say to her?
This camp hasn't gone very well, just hit MOV and thats including my order, cos we have all been ill I haven't had the chance to get books out again. Ah well, hope next camp is better!Squirrelling away in September No 33It's not about the money, it's about financial freedom, being in control of it and living in the natural world and not a material world0 -

Tell her you can email her a copy of each brochure, and that way she can have it for the whole campaign? Save her rushingStill looking for the plot...... Anyone seen it???0 -
Well done! All orders are good. Took so long posting to you, I didn't see this until after! You will get plenty of hints and tips here to make the most of your orders. Using avon stuff / wearing it yourself definitely gets you new customers too.
Thank youAlready got loads of ideas for promotions, I've got a territory of 125 houses, but know I can't get round that in a week with only 30 books; got my forms/flyers prepped for tomorrow night; as soon as I get home from work I'm going to get back out, collect the books that have been left out, then make decisions about which part of my territory I'm going to cover; eat tea then get back out again! Somehow the freezer bags I bought have gone walkies, so hoping it doesn't rain Thur/Fri! (scratch that, they have been found, though they look rather scruffy, wondering whether to just put them out as they are).
I don't think I'll ever be able to live up to my SL's expectations though
Our greatest weakness lies in giving up; always try just one more time0 -
not read whole thread... just last few pages:
loyalty packs contain 3 black supercurlacious and 2 brown/black + 20 cards... so you will have to ensure you have right amount of each shade for customers requests.
customers who hog the book? - give them a back order book if they never seem to order.... if they order.. maybe its worth losing that 10p in return for the order
dilema re the body spray - personally? id pocket the extra.... but if your feeling generous order 2 @ £1.25 give them to the customer and say avon sent 2 by mistake but havent charged you for the 2nd....then pocket the difference as extra commission (plus your commission on £1.25 sales) - customers happy as they get a "freebie" your happy you get extra commission. simplesthe most important thing to remember is you're running a business not a charity its so easy to worry about rippin customers off etc... i know i worry and get guilt still now.... but do you think mr tesco feels guilty that the stuff you bought last week full price is now on bogof or half price?? nope!! You also have to remember she was willing to pay the £3.60 for just the one...
those starting out and finding it hard - ive been a rep over 2 years now.. started out with 20 books and 2 streets. Last year i made a*brief* appearance in the top 1000 reps in the country during c10 and my sales figures were approx £13k ..... it all comes down to establishing a reputation as reliable and being willing to put the leg work in... it also helps if you have an avon friendly area! some places just arent interested! (can vary street to street!)... thats when you get inventive and look for other ways of meeting customers.
still looking for my avon motivation btw..... not even the sunny weather is motivatin me to get out there....0 -
I waited until this morning to submit my order as a new customer who is starting her own business doing nails and make overs wanted to order things to try. She still hadn't ordered, so I submitted and now she has ordered £30 in nail varnishes, is there any way to add it as only just submitted??Still looking for the plot...... Anyone seen it???0

Ring Fast Trak - I think the number's on the first page (starts 03...). I tried this once but it was too late. I waited to speak to a person because I wanted to make it clear I'd like the items added to a regular order, not an additional doing. I had to do an additional anyway, but you might be okay if it's within 24 hours of the deadline.I used to have my Avon turnover (sales) here. I can't find the number! Not having a good morning! I messaged my asm, and she was just like oh you can only do an additional and pay £2.50, and don't forget that if you don't reach mov you won't get commission. Helpful or what?!
Has anyone got the number please?
Have managed to detach the baby that's been clinging to me, so I can type properly! Is it worth me looking at doing it as a customer, and going via a cashback site? Would she still get the free gifts as in C7? Sorry for all the questions, have been really ill all week and still struggling. i would research it all myself otherwise.
Found it!!
