aaagh! am so frustrated - I seem to spend all my time running around after two customers - one who always says she hasn't had time to look at the book (never mind that she has had it for nearly two weeks now!!!) I told her tonight that I could not come back again and that if she wanted to order, she would have to phone or text me. And next time, she is the last person getting a book, that way I can afford not to get it back! I always go back when she has asked me to and then she always says the same thing!

and the other whose "friend" ordered through her and yet I can't get her to take delivery. She has had her own order delivered but just her friend wasn't there and then hadn't brought the money, and now I can't text her as the message is not going through. And its a problem with her phone only as I can text other people!

sorry! just need to vent a bit of frustration! am so fed up running around after these people.....

Hi all, had a question today about a tinted moisturiser in a blue package which one of customers used to buy regularly last summer through another rep. Does anyone know if this is coming back or if there is an alternative? I have had a look but can't see anything. Thanks. Xx

Got a text from my ASM with some territory last night, which is just 'round the corner from me which is great - but it's all flats. I've not been to have a look at them yet but going by googlemaps it's all secure entry - does anyone else have this problem or any tips of how to get around it?

With the first one, I would offer to email her the brochure for each campaign. Tell her that this way she has got it for as long as she needs it and you thought it may be easier for her.

The second one, I would just drop a note through the door saying you to please contact you by 'x' date or you will have to return it to Avon. Maybe say that if they just need more time to pay to let you know and you can hold it until 'x' date.
Still looking for the plot...... Anyone seen it???

Post boxes might be on the outside so you can easly drop your books off. Then to pick them up you would proberbly have to ring the bell for the first flat and say you have come to pick their book up and then you would be in the building so free to go and knock on the other doors.

Thats the only thing i can think of

I have some flats which are not secure entry but the occupants can lock the doors with a deadbolt when they go in or out. I have just had to skip them unfortunately.

If they do have a secure entry system, you could buzz one and ask to be let in however it may make picking up the brochures more difficult if no one is in when you need to collect.

Further to my post above I have just had a text instructing me to "kindly bring our order to...." as if I can just drop everything right at this moment and toddle off to deliver their order when I have been trying for the past two weeks. I have three kids and a husband who has just gone to bed having come off nightshift, it's the school holidays and I can't abandon them. So they will have to wait until I am ready to get there to deliver.

    :(

But just be careful - someone on this thread once got locked in a block of flats until she could get someone to come & unlock the door

    :(

That really annoyed me the other day it wasn't an order but a book the lady said she had 3 of my books when she left me a message and went on to express how it wasn't her fault if she wasn't in when I called and that I must collect the book then or first thing in the morning because she does need to go out and she said she didnt even like or want avon.

I was so annoyed the reason I hadn't answered was because I was at work in the day and she could of just left it outside for me to pick up. I didn't go for it in the end because I couldn't go when she had specified and she didn't want anything anyway. I do sometimes feel that people don't understand that you have a life as well as AVON. I am a part time mobile nail tech as well and people will ring me a 10pm and I just don't really think they understand that I have a life too.

    Sorry rant over
