It came about from the question: can you go outside your allocated streets and knock on doors to ask people if they'd like a book?
The answer I got when I asked my ASM back in October was no.
And she's right, from Avon's perspective territory is there for a reason therefore it should be stuck too.
There is nothing to stop an individual Rep from doing it though, it is a self-employed job remember - you can't be sacked for it !Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
Hi, just wondering if anyone can help, I have delivered my very first order and have a couple of returns to do but can't see how to arrange this on the Avon website? Any suggestions?
Thanks0 -
Hi,
I'm trying to see the sub total of my order that i'm placing on-line but can't seem to find the subtotal button. I would be very grateful if someone could point me in the right direction of it. It's only my second time of inputting orders so it's all still very new.
Many thanks.0 -

No problem! Go to the 'my orders' tab on you account home page and click credits. Then choose your invoice, then the item and the reason code. Follow the instructions, any problems let us know on here. You should be able to print off the form - one copy goes in with you returns, and the other is signed by the courier. Returns go back with your next delivery. It's not particularly clear, I remember having issues when I tried it first. Don't forget you are only credited the customer price. To get your subtotal to correct itself, pay a small amount off your bill. Within 24 hours it is ususally corrected. Hope this helpsStill looking for the plot...... Anyone seen it???0 -
Evening all,
As of Friday, I am now a Sales Leader yey! But a Sales Leader with no reps, booo!
I have 3 potential leads to follow up next week which fingers crossed go well. Other than FB and Gumtree, can anyone suggest other good online places to advertise? I don't think advertising on here is allowed is it?
Thank you for any suggestions!

Avon can close our accounts, though - I don't know how serious what you do has to be in order for this to happen. Or whether all ASMs take the same stance (3 strikes etc...)
Say the word comes down that knocking on doors is not allowed outside allocated streets. If a rep still chose to do that and started getting reported to their ASM because books were being found on other people's roads, surely if it happened often enough and the ASM had warned them already not to do it, something would be done? Might depend on the rep's sales...
I don't see how Avon could justify saying it's okay. Like you say they introduced territories in this country, got SMA set up. There's no point in either of those if we can go where we like in addition to doing allocated streets, even if we have to knock first.I used to have my Avon turnover (sales) here. They've been removed because it's not appropriate to talk about those kinds of sales as if they're realistic for a new Rep to aim for.I signed up at the right time, right place, and was very lucky.

Have a couple of questions if you lovely lot don't mind.
First is re bags. Do you guys put the books in sealable bags? What do you use? Sandwich bags? And where's the best place to get them.
Also a little confused with the Loyalty Card thing in Hello Tomorrow. Says you get so many cards and 5 mascaras for £10? Is that full size mascaras? Seems a bit odd...
I'm sure more questions will come to me through the day!My Debt Free Diary
