I am sure my first camps MOV had to be £48. I would order something to take you above MOV then as aforementioned send it back.Squirrelling away in September No 33It's not about the money, it's about financial freedom, being in control of it and living in the natural world and not a material world0

Mov is £78, in short campaigns it's reduced but the rest of the year it's £78 xAvon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0 -
Just had my call back from (I'm assuming) an ASM....got my meeting with her on Monday! She did seem to take me signing up as a foregone conclusion so I've roped my mum into being there as well, she used to be a sales leader and knows her stuff so wont let me be pushed in to taking on too much or too little! Are there any birning questions you lovely people think I should ask her to make sure she's not just a sign-me-up-and-leave-me-alone type? Thank you

Out of interest, how many customers do you have that can be awkward to deliver to because they don't have cash available at the time, or they haven't had their money yet etc??? Do you get people who order and then you have to send it back because they can't afford it?
There is a reason I am asking, am researching an idea that may be of use to some or all of us, but will need some information, help and advice from all of you. So I will really appreciate any answers you give to random questions over the next few days. If it leads anywhere I will enlighten you all
Rarely but this is probably dependant on area where you live. Also, mine are mostly older customers so not dependant on wages from month to month. But you do get the odd one...Please do not quote spam as this enables it to 'live on' once the spam post is removed.

Yes I got the "you are signing up right now" impression - even though my ASM was better than others.
If you'd like to go door-to-door make it clear you'd like some territory allocated. Some ASMs will ask - mine had some ready to write down for me when she came over - but it seems some reps are signed up without making it clear whether they're a friends and family rep, or one who can go door-to-door. And then the ones who are friends and family reps want to expand and - if they haven't been told otherwise - take it on themselves to start doing streets, or are unsure what to do to get some streets.
If the person signing you up doesn't set a date for your next training session, try to get that arranged before they leave. They should be making clear what you've got to get on with, and when they'll next be in contact.
Ask about Smart Start (rewards you get during your first campaigns), when the deadline is for placing your order and when delivery is. They'll probably tell you anyway, plus they need to see you again before placing your order to show you how to do it. If there's not much time left before the order deadline you can ask to start on the next campaign. My ASM suggested this without me asking. I still got my books and started straight away, but I didn't have a mad rush getting orders in in 5 days.
Ask about the admin fee. It's a one-off of £15, split into 2 £7.50 payments. When I signed up one was waivered. But this is an important point so I'd be surprised if they don't mention it.I used to have my Avon turnover (sales) here. They've been removed because it's not appropriate to talk about those kinds of sales as if they're realistic for a new Rep to aim for.I signed up at the right time, right place, and was very lucky.

Thank you so much I, Geek, that's been really helpful. She's already asked me about if I want to do territory, so that one is sorted (hopefully), just hoping she will give me one that I can walk to

Hi all!
I only signed up to be an Avon rep on Tuesday and finding it a little difficult! There's a girl in my work who already does it apparently (not that she's ever offered me!) so I left some brochures in the canteen with a nice little note...and no one's taken any!
One of my friends also does it (again, I didn't know!) so that's taken some potential customers as well.
I've tried to be pro-active today, posting adverts online, ordered business cards and canvassing facebook for new customers and I know some of my family will order. My boyfriend has taken some to work as well but there's only 1 woman in his office!
Feeling a bit beat before I've even started unfortunately. I'm quite interested in doing territory as I'm pretty sure no one in this is doing it (although going by prior experience I could be wrong!) but I'm not sure how to go about it?
Any tips or even motivation would be great! My Debt Free Diary

Hi all - little help about returns please! My balance owed is £181.95 on the website - I have requested a return for the bag which is £8. Should I deduct the price of the bag myself from the balance owed or is it already deducted?
Thanks very much!BSC #215/No.1 Jan 09 Club0 -

Depends when you requested the refund, If it was after your last invoice then you can pay the £181.95 minus the £8 and it will adjust itself or if you pay it all it will adjust itself and take it off your next invoice.0
