Out of interest, how many customers do you have that can be awkward to deliver to because they don't have cash available at the time, or they haven't had their money yet etc??? Do you get people who order and then you have to send it back because they can't afford it?
There is a reason I am asking, am researching an idea that may be of use to some or all of us, but will need some information, help and advice from all of you. So I will really appreciate any answers you give to random questions over the next few days. If it leads anywhere I will enlighten you allStill looking for the plot...... Anyone seen it???0 -
Hi, I am curious about your writing the address on every order form.... can I ask why? Just wonder if there is a better system.
If the address is 1 Rose Terrace I'll write "1 Rose" somewhere on the form. I used to use an A5 note so ended up with it near the introduction bit - so it stuck out above the brochure and the note.
When I'm out dropping brochures I need to know where to go next. I know who my regulars are, but not all of them get a book all the time, plus there are a few others. I couldn't remember off the top of my head where I need to be, and I found that checking a calling book or clipboard was a bit of a faff when already carrying one or two heavy bags. So the addresses get written on the forms, I can see them through the brochure bag, I stack them up in order of my route, and that's it. Plus if I get an order with no full address or name it's okay. And if someone says they don't want anymore but I don't see it until I empty the bag at home, I can check the form to see which house it is.I used to have my Avon turnover (sales) here. They've been removed because it's not appropriate to talk about those kinds of sales as if they're realistic for a new Rep to aim for.I signed up at the right time, right place, and was very lucky.

I've never had someone not have the cash. The reason I can't deliver is because they're not in - even though I tell them when I'm coming over. Adjusting these notes a bit to say 6-8pm so they get a time instead of just "evening", which is a little vague. I'm also dropping these on the Friday before Mon or Tue delivery - used to do it on a Wed before but that's long enough for people to lose the note.I used to have my Avon turnover (sales) here. I'm on my first campaign (7), and submitting my first order tonight. Unfortunately I've only got £42 worth of orders so am not going to get my commission this time. Do I still have to pay my first installment of £7.50 or am will they charge that when I actually make something?
Also I've emailed my sales leader but just in case she doesn't get back to me by tonight....she told me she is to supply my brochures for campaign 8 and then after that its up to me how many i order etc. I've looked at the order form and it gives me the option to buy the C9 brochures now, do I do it now, or wait until I place my order at the end of C8? ThanksWins 2012: £50 Love2Shop voucher, Lets Dance tickets, Juan Zelades CD, bluetooth speaker, Blackberry 9360 with £30 credit a month, Chocolate, Maybelline Goodie Bag, Hunter wellies!0 -
Grrrrrr I thought they had sorted the sub-total prices. It really frustrates me that I cannot see what my itemised prices are.

I'm not sure about the Fee question but I usually order two campaigns in advance so at present I am giving out C8 but I have C9 & C10 in stock. I like to look ahead and see what special offers they have and also I get the books prepped up ready if I get spare time.0 -
Anyone having any problems with viewing the stock availability???
My orders due in a couple of days and I can't see anything yet, and I'm not liking it.0 -

I have a few people who can't have their order until x day as thats when they get paid, but its only usually a day or two after I deliver and they tell me in advance so it's never a problem.Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0 -

Firstly - yes you will get some earnings, as you can add some bits to your order, to bump it up to £78, and return the extras!
But yes you'll still get charged the admin fee, it's done automatically, they won't put it off as otherwise they run the risk of never getting paid it.
Yes, I'd suggest you order your C9 books now, its how I teach all my reps, we tend to order at least 2 brochures ahead (means we have our books in advance so that we can get them packed up ready) - but, you could put it off till next time if you want to see how you get on. Your SL has probably said not to order them yet for this reason, with you only have a few orders and not wanting you to end up too out of pocket.Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0 -

You'll be charged it with your first two regular orders regardless of their value.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0
