  • Something I was thinking about, it has been over 28 days and I have not received anything for ordering from Avon through the Nectar website. Has it registered for anyone else?[/QUOTE]

Mine haven't credited either yet, one thing I have learnt about any reward site I have used is that they take an age to add anything to your account. I have had lots of my Amazon points credited and that has taken about 7 weeks from placing an order to processing the reward points

Hmm... wonder how she gets - "all her reps to pay her 12% of their sales"? Is that what happens when you move further up the ladder?

Having read the article, am not sure whether I feel inspired or sickened.... Bears no resemblance to the hours and hours I spend/waste doing three trips to deliver a £2.50 order! :rotfl:

Avon pays her the 12% and it's what you get when you get up the levels as you say :)
She and her husband put in a darned lot of hours and have done for a long time. She is also a kick bum networker and most of her time is spent supporting her reps and sales leaders... How do I now? Guess who my SL is? ;)

Seriously look her up on FB under Gails Avon :) She's a lovely lovely lady and more than happy to help people who are not part of her team too :) She can also be found as a regular contributor on connects :)

  • I wonder if anybody can help me. I have alot of returns some from customers and some from when Avon call me with special offer for me to sell (do you guys agree to them sending you the orders or not because i feel liek they pressure me into saying yes :/) and i think most have gone past 90 days and have slowly been recharging to my account, and i cannot afford to pay for these items. Do any of you have any advice on whats the best thing to do with them, have you experienced any leaway with avon in regards to making returns outside of the 90 period?:(

Sorry, no experience re. being outside the 90 day period - surprising how much stock you steadily accumulate though and I have quite a bit too that also falls within that category....

Unless someone else can help re. returning it to Avon for credit, looks like you've no option but to try and sell it. What about:

    * holding a party, doing a car boot sale, coffee morning and hopefully selling some that way?
    * offering the goods as 'free gifts' as incentives for orders over £x amount?
    * doing a Special Offer list and circulating that with your books?

Suppose (bit sneeky) you could maybe offer the items you've got as 'substitutes' i.e. if they're similar to any goods ordered by your customers?;)

    Good luck.

PS: Don't be pressurised into accepting the goods offered to you by phone; it's not Avon per se but some sort of agency working on commission. Easiest way to reject any Money Maker offers they're promoting is to say that you've already done the MM and added it to your order. ;)
Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon ;))

It is only 12% from reps in her top line, it's less for reps further down in the team. Which is a misleading of the article, it should say up to 12%. Ive never met her but she seems lovely, always willing to help others even those outside of her team, I've asked her lots of questions in the past on Facebook and she was a great help.

    Hi,

Does anyone know if the Instant Face Lift 29132 on page 151 of Brochure 18 is discontinued and replaced by the serum on C4 cover? Its not in C3.

    Thankyou

    hi all

ive not posted since before Christmas, so belated New Year wishes to you all:beer:

im have a few questions about the different way to sell products, so here it goes

are we allowed to sell the clearance items on or not, im quite confused about this, i have seen a few reps on ebay that i suspect are selling some of the clearance items, face creams in particular. i personally dont see an issue with it but just wondered what the Avon rules are?( i could be wrong they could be selling discontinued items)

is it ok to sell discontinued items on?

this is where my confusion arises, why would it be ok to sell the discontinued but not the clearance, how would the Avon gurantee play out here?

Are we allowed to sell on the Demo items to customers?

Are we allowed to seperate the items out of the bargain packs and sell them on?

Has anyone purchased a bargain pack and would they be worth investing in? as i am considering getting one out of the HT brochures

i think thats all the questions for now....

    Hi everyone.

Im new to Avon, Ive got my own street as my teritory and Im on my first campaign. Got over 60 houses in this street and I think I only got 16 brochures from my sales leader so Im doing it in shifts.

I had my first collection on tuesday and Ive managed over £160 or orders so far :j Im soooo happy about it all cos I was worried about meeting the minimum amount. Got my next lot of brochure collections on Friday, including a few people who wanted more time with the brochure (fingers crossed)

I think I got a good street! My sales leader is coming back a week friday to help me put my orders online and show me how to log on etc... so Im hoping she'll be pleased with my work! :T

Im loving looking at everyones signatures for how much they sell each campaign, its really motivating, some of you are really impressive!

Just wondered how people are doing the foundation swap, are you collecting the old foundation with orders or delivery?
  • Yay.. Joined Avon, got my books and raring to go! Well, I got a text from Avon saying welcome to avon.. So I am hoping I have been accepted!?!?
