You could email Avon saying it is fraud, someone placing an order on the account of someone who hasn't given written permission and ask for DSM's details as you want to make a complaint.
You will probably then get an email like I did, saying no order had been placed on your account..... hmm the case of the vanishing order...... and they will not give the DSM's details.
I suppose if we all complained every time it happened to us or a member of our teams, then eventually they would take notice because of strength in numbers, etc.0 -

Already done that; emailed Avon via the 'contact us' section of the website and, as posted above, they referred it back to the ASM to deal with.
I then emailed the DSM asking whether it is actually allowed (or even legal) for Managers to place orders without the prior consent - or even knowledge - of reps and quoted excerpts from two separate ASM emails, i.e.:
"due to the fact we have not received a C18 order from you it has been arranged that you will be receiving....."
and
"it has been organised that if anyone who has not placed an order in C17 by the 10pm Internet cut off day you will automatically be sent, Exclusive to Avon-Fergies 'OUTSPOKEN' Perfume at the amazing price of just £6.30!!"
That was just before Christmas but I didn't even receive an out-of-office acknowledgement let alone a reply!:mad::mad:
You'd think that Avon would want to know about such things because in my book the Managers are not only causing SLs/reps problems with these unwanted orders, but the Managers are presumably 'earning' some reward on the back of non-existent orders, not to mention costing Avon money re. additional admin and carriage costs for the returns. Or am I missing something maybe?Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

hmmmmm MC, economics of scale methinks......
ASM bangs in lots of stats showing lots of reps with active accounts.... doesn't matter that active accounts are for free order forms, ASM has successfully met target, therefore ASM is entitled to bonus, free holiday, etc. Free holiday, bonuses, are taxable deductions.
Avon "think" on paper they are doing well having x number of reps, bottom line on profit and loss shows healthy profit, Avon happy with figures.
Avon like my current MD, do not give a tuppenny as long as they are making profit.0 -
Well, collected most of my brochures today. About half a dozen to pick up tomorrow. Must say, was very surprised that there were some good orders. Did C2 to all but my very infrequents and C2 & C3 to my besties. C2 was by far the best with around 75% of my order value compared with just 25% of C3. Have already noticed a couple of red dots against sale bits from C2 so may have a couple of upset customers.
Would say the order totals would be around my usual (on a good month) so really pleased although I hope C4 is better than C3! Will not be using C3 for recanvassing, will wait until a better one is available.
Sorry, but can't get used to this Aesop name, A! Seems weird after all this time. Hope everythings okay with you. Please do not quote spam as this enables it to 'live on' once the spam post is removed.

Hmm.... Think you've hit the nail on the head, A.
Last year I was invited to a function by the DSM. She set us all targets to hit so we could 'win a prize'. It's not rocket science to realise that DSMs also have targets to hit and the purpose of the event was actually to make sure she hit her own target. At the end of the day it seems that everyone feathers their own nest and 'the weak' fall by the wayside.
There are actually more Debt Addresses (reps, who have left Avon owing money) in my town than current reps.... Realise some will know they owe Avon money but with all the recent activity re. 'Manager Internet Orders' makes me wonder whether there are some, who have no idea that their credit references have been adversely affected....Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

Not sure because Avon Connects didn't exist when I first registered but am wondering whether you need to click on 'Register' rather than 'Log on' i.e. as it will ask you for some personal information to set up your rep a/c.
Try and let us know if that is the reason please.Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

Sometimes you need to leave it 24 hours to register, if you account has only just been set up then you might need to leave it a bit.Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0

If you can't find out your dsms details let me know and I'll find out. Asms cannot place orders for anything unless they have permission, and dsm should not be encouraging them to do this - it is fraud, using your account to place an order you have no knowledge of, that can well affect your credit rating. Email dsm, sales leader team and ask to make an official complaint regarding fraudulent activity on your account that you wish to report and get rectified else it will be referred to the police - it is an abuse of power that can affect your credit rating not to mention your ability to place your own orders.Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0

Has anyone sent a letter of complaint to head office? If you know of other reps who have had orders placed without their knowledge you could send them a template to sign. I was thinking lots of separate letters would be more effective than one letter signed by lots of people.I used to have my Avon turnover (sales) here. They've been removed because it's not appropriate to talk about those kinds of sales as if they're realistic for a new Rep to aim for.
I signed up at the right time, right place, and was very lucky.
