Asms cannot place orders for anything unless they have permission, and dsm should not be encouraging them to do this - it is fraud, using your account to place an order you have no knowledge of, that can well affect your credit rating. Email dsm, sales leader team and ask to make an official complaint regarding fraudulent activity on your account that you wish to report and get rectified else it will be referred to the police - it is an abuse of power that can affect your credit rating not to mention your ability to place your own orders.
Trouble is they CAN and DO, lozza. I emailed my DSM and my upliner registered a complaint too but think they both ended up in the same place (filed in the bin!) Maybe this is the Managers' version of our 'creative ordering'?
Morally/Legally it's wrong but it's a very easy matter for them just to credit the accounts when SL's/reps bring it to their attention so in effect that 'hides the crime' - just causes others hassle.
My OH refers to them as the Avon M a f i a (hmmm.... wonder why that word isn't allowed on here?) and reckons we should blow the whistle; bit difficult though when you are trying to build up a team and succeed in your own Avon business. My ASM's already told me that any territory problems in our town tend to be due to my team so am deffo not her fave! :rotfl:

Has anyone sent a letter of complaint to head office? If you know of other reps who have had orders placed without their knowledge you could send them a template to sign. I was thinking lots of separate letters would be more effective than one letter signed by lots of people.
Haven't sent a letter and not sure my reps would sign one either - pretty sure they see the goods as 'freebies' i.e. thinking they won't have to pay for them because:
a) they didn't order them
b) their SL (me) will sort it
c) they just don't care
Actually, by law their thought process may not be far from logical - is it still the case that you have the right to keep and not pay for unsolicited goods i.e. if you didn't order them personally?Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

Has anyone filled in a tex return online before? Im so confused, this is what it lists to fill in
Costs of goods bought for re-sale or goods used:£
Car, van and travel expenses after private use proportion:£
Wages, salaries, and other staff costs:£
Rent, rates, power, and insurance costs:£
Repairs and renewals of property and equipment:£
Accountancy, legal and other professional fees:£
Interest and bank and credit card etc. financial charges:£
Telephone, fax, stationery and other office costs:£
Other allowable business expenses (client entertaining costs are not an allowable expense):£
then it works itself out but what do i fill in them gaps?

O I know they do mc, my point is, no matter what asm/dsm say it is illegal and they can loose their jobs because of it. If you get no luck with complaining to dsm, take it further and higher up in avon. It's fraud abusing someones account, and fraud get bonuses when they shouldn't have. Make a pain in the !!!! of yourself if necessary, sending letter to head of Avon if need be. Others have managed to get their asm disciplined/sacked because of this and that's what should happen cos theyre basically criminals.Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0

Can i have your opinions please? I have a new rd been given to me and i was just wondering what would be the best way to approach this, it has over 80 houses is it best to do a leaflet drop to see who would like to see a book or should I leave books to every house? my only concern that if I leaflet drop people won't bother to text ring or email me if they are interested in seeing a book?0

Howdydoody
Just wanted to ask, does anyone know if Magix cashmere foundation is available to order yet after the problems they had? It seems slightly pointless even trying to order it for someone if theyre just going to send out a substitute
And what did we all get on our kiss cards? lol0 -
Ok on my phone so easier to answer both questions in one post:
I'd try delivering/collecting brochures once or twice (use your previous camp books to keep costs down). Then after that do as I do to recanvass houses that haven't previously ordered and deliver expired brochures with leaflets attached to them. But, actually taking & collecting brochures the first few times is key to prove your reliability. Or door knock to find out who wants one if you're brave enough.
I had a customer order the magix foundation just before Xmas and it was delivered ok so I assume from that they've sorted the production problems and should be supplying them for all shades of it.Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0 -

Up to you, GM; some of us knock and ask, others just post through the doors but as you say, in my experience if you leave a leaflet only the VERY keen (potential) customers will come back to you. Depends how much time you have and how many books.
When I started I knocked and asked - with 70 houses to cover and only 20 books it seemed 'the only way' to me. I managed to place about 16 books in those 70 houses (and they still form part of my customer base). On the other hand, when I was given an extra street of 22 houses I dropped to every house with a note to the effect 'please tick yes/no if you'd like a book regularly' - so far I've only had 3 orders out of those 22 houses.....
Knocking and asking takes more time initially but at least you know your books are wanted rather than doing all the legwork dropping/collecting back in and potentially losing your books because people don't want them in the first place.Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)
