At least you can help the police next time they're looking for an anonymous blackmailer
I'd cut out the words Thank and You and pop them through the door heh heh0 -
Woohoo, I had an email today for a free avon hair dye
Said it will be delivered in C7 orders, so I have to wait about 4 weeks, but I can't wait to try it!
Tried the new Nice & Easy foam colour at the weekend and I am so not impressed - non drip foam?? It went everywhere! Smelt quite strong too, and made my scalp itch. And the colour was way darker than the box indicated. Definitely won't be using that again! I have this theory that chocolate slows down the ageing process.... It may not be true, but do I dare take the chance?0 -
If someone really didn't want an Avon book why take the time to cut out the words "DON'T" and "WANT" from a paper to put them with the book? weird behaviour.
Especially as when I print the flyers to in it I put a "No more books thank you" and a box next to it for them to tick on it :rotfl::rotfl:Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
I now have just 11 books outstanding
And a daughter who is petrified to go out with me in that area.
A few months back you might remember hearing about a little boy in Liverpool who was killed by the family dog & the police ended up shooting the dog? Well that house/estate is part of my territory. Now DD (who's nearly 10, going on 80!) knows where it happened, as she saw the news reports and even pointed out that it was round the corner. So tonight she's doing her usual gobby-ness as I'm trying to do my rounds and not paying particular attention to whats going on around her. Anyways these two blokes going running past us, and the next minute we hear all this commotion and dogs barking like mad. DD freakedSo I put my arm round her and took her to the next house, closing the gate on the little front garden behind us and she stood on the step with me so she would feel safer. So everything is fine and gone quiet again, we carry on and walk along to the first/last house on this close and DD recognises the house where that little boy lived in the next road (the next lot of houses I will be canvassing) and starts clinging on to me when we hear more barking. Theres a young bloke, talking to a friend, with a boxer on a lead who is going a bit mad cause there's another dog around. I swear if she could have climbed in my pocket she would have
This dog is on a chain type of lead, held tight by its owner, behind a fence and as soon as the other dog has gone back inside it shuts up. The last house we have to call at is the house next to this dog. So I go up to the door & knock DD is at this point staring at this dog and clinging onto my arm
I get the book, we leave, and then DD starts complaining she has pains in her chest and looks like a ghost. She's obviously having some sort of panic or anxiety attack and all because there was a dog out. I can understand her being concerned I was when I first saw the dog but quickly noticed it was "safe". Every time a dog barks she jumps so this estate where the majority of people have dogs is going to be interesting when I have to go out with her in tow
I wouldn't mind if it wasn't for the fact she's use to dogs
:mad::rotfl::rotfl:
Anyways, I've managed to get orders of just over £300 again so I'm happy, and should making my accounts forecast so much easier if I can average about the same each campaignCreeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
Oh dear, Nicki, my heart goes out to your DD. It's awful if you're actually frightened of dogs; she sounds to be really traumatised by it all. Good luck helping her deal with it.
On a brighter note, well done reaching £300; the more orders you get, the more CO opportunities you get too. :jMake the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

How short of HOV are you? If you're close it's well worth ordering something extra to take you over i.e. it will then mean you earn the extra 5% on all your customer orders. It could mean you get something for yourself costing, say. £20 for £5! :j (And if you really don't want it, you can always send it back.) Work out the maths!
PS: well done!Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

Need to be out the door quickly so thought I'd flag that for you before I left. Seems that I was a little optimistic @ £20 worth of goods for £5 but for instance:
Order £128 @ 20% = £102.40 nett
Order £130 @ 20% = £104 nett
Order £148 @ 25% = £111 nett
Of course, it won't work out exactly like that because you will have some HT products, books, bags, etc. at nett prices but hope that gives you the general idea.Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)
