Thanks for asking after me :)

My ASM did get back to me yesterday and arranged to bring my brochures Tuesday (day before my order due) and 'help me with my order' which I've already uploaded...I'm obviously a bit stuck as I can't get my ASM to ensure I get some support as she's my only contact, not having a SL. TBH I'll be happy to get my books then do my own thing with help from you lovely people ;), and just hope I can at least get more territory from her in future if needed. Perhaps through guilt tripping..

    Good luck everyone :T

You're very welcome; I've had loads of help from this thread too - it's surprising how quickly you go from asking to helping!

So, you're another case of no SL = no support. It's mentioned time and time again that generally it's thought better to sign up with a SL rather than direct via the website to your ASM. Trouble is, until it's happened (unless you come across a thread like this) there's no way of finding that out until it's too late! :(

Having said that, there's a rep in my town, who's just had some amazing help from her ASM so as ever I guess it's a bit of a lottery.

Hope your next campaign is better.

Can anyone tell me what freebies you get when you hit MOV or HOV for each campiagn? I lost the bit of paper with all the info on! last time I recieved some samples for hiting HOV just wondered what I would get next time.

It generally samples for MOV all the way through; camps 1 and 2 are independent but camps 3 + 4, and 5 + 6 are linked i.e. you have to achieve HOV in both to get the freebies.

C1 HOV is a full sized Anew product
C2 HOV is just extra samples (I think)
    C3 + C4 = the plastic extending folder + 5 Avon pens
    C5 + C6 = the vanity case!!! Yeah - well worth having :T

And, if you are a 'Super Star' and achieve £1,500 worth of customer orders in your first six camps you get the free Demo bag! :T:T

I am totally disillusioned (sp?) with AVON at the moment.

Have only given half my regulars their books last weekend.. never got round to the rest as been too busy and tired and my order goes in on thursday so id need to get them out today but dont have the energy or inclining. Have not collected some i did put out either!!! :o:o:o Ive only just reached HOV!!

Still got c4 orders sat here that werent paid for!!! (I submit c6 thurs) Have got c5 orders not paid for too... so not seen any commission for last 2 campaigns!!!!!!

(plus had £30 stolen from me by someone close out my avon money.. leading to an embarrassing banking situation and me earning even less this campaign!! :( )

i prepped 200 books to recanvass but now dont feel well enough to recanvass......

my sales have plummeted last 2 campaigns so im making £80-100 a camp in commission if im lucky for about 80 hours work. Last year i was averaging £5 an hour for much less work at one point!!

I have made more on ebay selling avon in the past fortnight than ive made from my brochure sales since before christmas!!! :(

My house is a tip because im spending every day working, my daughters bored and wants to go out and play and do nice things - and shes not going her dads so shes here all the time with me... but im working so we cant go and do anything so shes getting bored and being naughty making situation worse cos shes being naughty when im trying to work!! ..... im behind in my uni work because ive prioritised working... so looks like gonna fail my uni module..... and im generally fed up!!!

i set myself lots of targets and ambitions for this year hoping they would spur me on as id got to the point of wanting to quit just before christmas.... problem is ... i still want to quit. I just dont enjoy it anymore. its a burden... its not paying well anymore... and my whole life is suffering because of avon.

Sorry guys to be so down.... but i just needed to vent my frustrations.

(((((((((Johanne)))))) that's why I ended up getting a paid part time job, doesn't pay wonderful, but it is a steady guaranteed, as long as I work the days income.

And I know what you mean about the little ones. My DS hates being stuck in the house, he always wants to be out, and hates the Avon side where I am prepping books, sorting orders, etc, and then walk past the park and don't go in because we are doing deliveries.

It's not all cut and dried when you have little ones that are pre-school age.

Hugs from me too, Johanne, you were our star performer on here. You need to sit down and figure out what's changed in the last few months to put you back so much. The old deliveries need sorting too - how about making some calls to your customers and sorting out who still wants deliveries? Then you can arrange a time to do them. So sure that once you've cleared your backlog that you will feel much happier.

I had to take my DD out for brochure collection the other day (car broken down) and I got the pitiful 'are we going to soft play?'. No, we're going to collect avon brochures doesn't quite have the same appeal to a two year old. Then the guilt sets in and you imagine every other child in town is having a good time whilst yours is dragged around work.

Oh dear, J, sounds like you reeeealllly need a break. If I were you I'd just send back any/everything you can - drop your (lower ordering) customers a note saying you'll be missing a campaign or two and just concentrate on your core customers. Sometimes when customers are starved of a book or two it encourages them to order and sometimes it's just a good idea to pull up the drawbridge and look at what's going on in your life.

Maybe E-Bay is the way for you (got to admit am jealous of your former £5/hr earnings - I've never managed anything like that.... don't even bother quantifying it because it would be far too depressing).

Figure out what works for you and do that - forget the rest/dross.

Good luck (and sometimes taking your child to the park is far more important than chasing around after people/customers, who don't appreciate it..... Easily said, I know....) BIG HUGS!

Thanks, first time I've seen the on-line version. Did hear that the C1 HOV full size ANew freebie may be replaced now by the £10/£7 nett 14-day trial packs - certainly would make more sense.

Referring back to my earlier post about the black fit flops, I've just noticed that a new 6/7 pair I have in stock (I like these so much I tend to keep a spare pair in stock) are smaller than my old white pair, which have been washed (in the m/c). Am wondering if as they get older they 'stretch'/'flatten' - the new ones are narrower/slightly higher too - or whether the newer ones are just generally smaller in size - white and black. Anyone else any experience/thoughts?
