    I have another query.

A customer has ordered 3 of the skin so soft products on pages 108-109 of C5, thinking they are £6 for three. WEhen I put them in the order they came up for £4.10 each and upon investigation I found that she had ordered two off pages 108-109 and one offpage 110 which is part of another deal 3 for a £5.

She hasn't left a contact number and I can't get over to see her today so what shall I do, when I spoke to her she said she ordered the 3 to get the special deal yet this hasn't come up as she tried to order things from two deals.

I was wondwering whether I should just order her another product in the 3 for £6 deal and explain it when I deliver.

Order 3 products from each offer i.e. to get them all at the offer price; then point out to your customer that the actual price of the 3 items she ordered is £x but you realised she was looking for a good deal so, if she likes, she can have all 6 products for £11. IF you're wanting to be a 'really good rep' - after hearing her groan at her mistake - I'd offer her whichever 3 products she wants for £6 (knowing full well you can return whatever she doesn't actually want under code 52 'unable to deliver') ;)

No one sat through my first order! i really was left to my own devices too, my SL lived an hours drive away, kept saying if i had problems then email or txt, but i've not heard from anyone in a while, though the ASM's have been far more help! Loads of people i knew who were reps kept mentioning about "CO" and for once i saw an opportunity to do it, but its not gonna work properly for me if i dont even hit MOV! roll on sunday when i get my books and orders in!

There's really no excuse for this - makes me sooo angry! With free calls on landlines it shouldn't matter how far away your SL lives. Whoever signed you up can see your saved order via their system too so it's an easy matter to help guide you through the ordering process from anywhere within the UK.

Changing the subject slightly but someone commented earlier about taking their OH in with them to do an initial sign-up. It hadn't dawned on me until recently how dangerous it is for upliners, who live on their own, to do sign-ups without anyone else knowing the details. Had a precarious one to do recently but it turned out OK so.... word of warning, it's a good idea to email your own upliner and/or let someone know your movements. Better safe than sorry.

Starting on Tuesday 8th March 2011 , take an advantage of some fantastic Internet offers that will be available exclusively online to independent Avon Representatives and Sales Leaders.

We're bringing you lots of exciting deals at our prices to date. Treat yourself to some great-value products from just 89p and don't miss out on some fantastic multi-product sets from just £6.50!

Our offers are a huge saving on the regular brochure prices, so make sure you keep an eye on your inbox from Tuesday 8th March to find out what's on sale!

There will be a new deal on offer each weekday and weekend offers too.

Just a little point, these will be nett prices so gross them up (by 33.3% - or divide by 3 then multiply by 4 - if you normally hit HOV) to make sure it really is a good deal. Really T's me off when reps are offered 'deals' in HT that actually work out more expensive than recent customer offers.

Yeah you can place a small order and it'll be delivered free of charge, you'll get sent a single brochure at 55p, but it's returnable so won't cost you anything. They may be altering it to be that small orders incur a delivery charge, but there's been nothing definate communicated to SL yet, its all been word of mouth so not sure how true it is/when its coming in. But as mentioned when it was found out, you could just order a few extra items to make your order large enough, and then return them anyway!

You can still order from just HT and get your stuff cheaper as HT prices don't rely on you hitting mov/hov x

Was told at an Area Meeting last month that from C9 Avon would be charging the £2.50 delivery fee for any/all orders under £10

As you say though, haven't seen anything in writing yet.

one of the ladies that put the 60odd quid order in decided to give back 2 3rds of the order :( talk about complete waste!

Does happen - hopefully not often! Have been holding two orders for the same person for the last two campaigns (how stupid/trusting am I? Luckily this is an 'ex-customer', who did it to me before but I've been helping another rep and looks like it was nothing personal against me! :rotfl:). I do try and ease them through i.e. ask if they'd like their order piecemeal but pretty sure this lot will be going back. You soon get to know the time-wasters....

No and until I see something official in writing from Avon I'm a bit suspicous, it could just be rumours going round and nothing will come of it. We'll see, they'll have to tell us soon if its C9 they're bringing it in on as thats only a few campaigns away.

Hi MC  This one thinks it's the pink moisturiser cream rather than the dry oil spray too... I have expressed my doubts, and ordered both and explained to her that she is welcome to try them and return whichever she likes. So hopefully we will resolve the matter!

Hi MM, Oh... well done you! You'll go far!

    Cx

PS: It was the pink shower cream my customer wanted but she saw the value of the 5 for £5 deal I managed to find for her. She had a great time on holiday and wasn't bitten but, shhhh, it's not mozzie season yet! LOL

Yeah it could well do, and I wouldn't be surprised, but as theres been nothing communicated to everyone yet, we can hardly tell people that it is definately going to happen as its not been confirmed until Avon put a message on the website/email us all/put it on the invoice or however else they might make sure everyone knows.
