The Forum Team have been excellent in guiding me as to what is and what is not allowed in our signatures on here. (Got to say they've been very patient with me re. all my queries so a quick 'thank you' to them.)
Finally got it into my brainbox (sorry if others have already posted to this effect too) that we are not allowed to self-promote and/or (appear to be trying to) sell anything to anyone so any mention of 'Avon, 'rep' or 'Sales Leader' etc. in our signatures could be deemed to fall into that category and is a definite 'No-No'.
So, maybe 'newbie' would be better than 'New Rep', which isn't allowed. We don't sell things on here anyway but occasionally people are looking for goods; seems to me that should be allowed i.e. being that you are allowed to ask for help. Anything after the initial contact though should be taken off-board i.e. go to PM and/or even better email.
Hopefully that should still allow us to help each other without contravening the T&C's of MSE (and sure if I've still got something wrong they'll be along shortly to help again) :T
Hmm... Looks blank without a signature so have 'saved' a new one.... not showing yet, presumably, because I've been a 'little bit' naughty, it'll have to be approved before it shows...Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

Afternoon ladies... my Avon order arrived today and only one item was missing, which was out of stock - woo hoo!! After the missing 26 last time I'm quite relieved everything is here although I've made a boo boo.
I missed off ordering a skin so soft, soft and sensual dry oil body spray @ £2.50 (C4) for a customer who has recommended her friend (its for the friend - doh!)I thought I'd order the 4 for £5 offer on the skin so soft range in C5 but obviously didn't - doh!
Question is can I do an additional order which I know will cost me £2.50 but at least I keep the customer happy or am I just honest and say I missed it off and order her one next time or put in some samples / freebie for the mistake. Trouble is it will be a few weeks before I put another full order in as I'm only putting in a small order next campaign due to other commitments.
Any advice ladies??
thanks
I did this with my C4 order for a concealer, I told my customer it was currently OOS but should be here with my next orderxx

It may seem to you that it should be allowed but it is contravening the MSE rules, and this includes via pm, which are the same across all boards/threads of the forum.

Difficult to comment without knowing the customer and how desperate they are for the product. If you know your customer well, I'd be honest and say I'd found a better deal i.e. the 4 for £5 so her friend could have a choice but then in your glee at being able to pass on such a good deal you forgot to order it! The honesty will make your intended good deed stick in her mind anyway.
On the other hand, she may only want the oil spray anyway, in which case if you do put in an additional order then you'll end up paying £5 for the other three items so still a fairly good deal I suppose.
I try and encourage my local team members to keep each other informed of any shortages and/or goods wanted i.e. so they can help each other out. Can't say it happens a lot but just wonder if you've got any other members on your team nearby that may have one in stock?Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

Thanks, EL, for your input; be assured I am not trying to flout any rules, but rather just saying that if members need help they should be allowed to ask for it - yes/no?Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

Yes, it took me a while for the penny to drop that I can blame all my errors on Avon and the customer wouldn't be any the wiser! :rotfl:Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

Provided it doesn't involve, buying/selling/gifting, the promotion of Avon goods or recruiting.0 -

It should do, yes. Actually there is only one level in Associate, so mentioning bronze is slightly confusing in that context.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
Inaminute - i know your sl puts their order in next Tuesday so if you asked I'm sure they'd be happy to add it to their order. Might be worth seeing what the offers are on the Avon website - you might be able to get free delivery and/cashback so could be worth ordering it from their. Never done it myself, maybe some else will know what the offers are, if there's free delivery etc at the mo.Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0
